Attached is the points summary, following race number three in our series.

The Legends and Late Models again put on a great show!! Very close racing in both classes. In the Legends, Doug Turturo and Cliff Mckeen swapped the lead several times in the race. Doug, in his "S Cargo" legend, beat Cliff, driving his "Hot Pink" #54 Legend, at the finish by just 4/10 of a second.

The Late Models had one of the most exciting races of the day. Larry Cobb form New Milford, Pa driving his #103, was setting a very fast pace and appeared to have the field covered. Frenchie, the "Dirt Legend" from Kirkwood, NY, was running a very competive 2nd place. At the finish, Points leader, Jon Richardson and Rick Elwood, showed everyone how "cruise control" works as they were still running well at the end. Jon made it three wins in a row!!

December 13, 2009 is the final race of the series. We will have a post race pizza / wings party where we will award the trophies and do the drawing for the grand prizes!!!

Who will be crowned the Sportsman Champion ???? We'll find out in two weeks !!

I'd like to take a minute to thank Todd Ferguson and all the staff at Walts hobbies for giving us the track and all the support to pull off the Sportsman series, it would have been impossible without them and I think all the racers that participated had as great a time as Mike and I did putting it on, I know Mike will come on and show the final points but a couple of highlights were Jon (I never win nothing) Richardson winning the raffle for a new Losi Latemodel and Dave Wright winning the Legends kit, theres more to say but I'll leave some for Mike, again thanks to everyone and Happy Holidays.
