HPIFreak 12-02-2009, 02:20 PM im thinking about running my electric 1/8 scale at the winter midwest race in january, but i dont have much experiance setting my buggy up for indoor blue groove type track. im guessing id just want thicker shock oils, stiffer springs, less droop, lower ride height? and which tires? i know people have used Panther Switch 2.0's in the past, but what about Prolines Inside Jobs? or JConcepts new BarCodes? or is there a better tire out there? and what tire/insert combo works best for a blue groove surface? soft tires with hard inserts? sorry for the bombardment of questions, i just have no idea how to set my car up for the surface and im just totally guessing on all this lol.
pics so you know what tires im talking about

RodneyB 12-03-2009, 12:21 AM HPIFreak. I'm more of a 1/10th guy, but you can't go wrong with pink taper pins. I heard J concepts Sevens are good on the club track. For real answers, I'd suggest asking on the forums at www.crcrc.com.
