View Full Version : 4cell to 1S weights? RCThunder 09-30-2009, 12:49 PM Anyone know of the top of their head what the differences are? James35 09-30-2009, 01:07 PM 4 cell= 10.5oz 1S = 5.3oz slotracer577 09-30-2009, 02:20 PM smc 4000 mah, 25C pack is another oz lighter at 4.2 oz. DOUGHBOY 09-30-2009, 06:07 PM whats a 4cell pack??? is that what fred flinstone and barney ruble use to use in the rc cars back in bedrock JDW 09-30-2009, 09:04 PM whats a 4cell pack??? is that what fred flinstone and barney ruble use to use in the rc cars back in bedrock Do you want me to carbon date that for you? We weighed a TP pack at 6.4, I think it was. Jake jflack 09-30-2009, 10:34 PM Remember you need to run a RX pack with 1S Lipos!!! another 1.8 oz!!!!!!! If a hard case for the RX pack is going to be the rule the 1S weight needs to go up some. It would be nice to be able to get close to the limit! jflack 09-30-2009, 10:35 PM My 2 TP 5000 40C packs were 5.9 oz MikeM 10-01-2009, 11:20 AM Our Cefx car with SMC rx pack and TP 1 cell is one ounce lite now, why would you want to increase the weight! Tire wear with this reduced weight is GREAT why mess that up? slotracer577 10-01-2009, 11:38 AM I have a CRC BA2 and with booster I had to add 3/4 of an oz to meet 36 oz with a TP 40C pack with the 25C pack I am had to add 1.75 oz to make weight. This is even with a huge foam bumper with aluminum standoffs. With a 1.8 oz RX pack I would be .5 to 1 oz over with the 40C pack. John CBear3 10-01-2009, 12:13 PM My 10.5 car, with wing, heavy paintjob, TP Rx pack, regulator, tekin esc, TP 40c, and nice fat tires was exactly at weight. No complaints here. Actually, I'm closer to min weight now then when I was running 4cell 10.5/or 2c 17.5 dadandsonrcnuts 10-01-2009, 06:34 PM My KSG gen II, I only had to add 1/2 oz to make weight (36oz) 13.5 smc 4000 1 cell no reciver pack with a gtb, so when I start using the larger packs I can take the weight off. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
