Need a bunch of AFX skinny fronts, saw somewhere that O-Rings work.... anyone know what size and how good they work/look?

They work great!

You can get them at any hardware store pretty cheap. Just take a wheel in with you and see what fits. You'll find several sizes that have the same inside diameter but different thicknesses. Get some of each and see what works best for you.

Thought about that after I posted.... kind of a no brainer! Thanks!

If you need a bunch try www.oringsandmore.com - I've had excellent luck with them.

Bulk Rubber Orings # 010-70D 100 orings for $1 fit AFX front wheels. So I bought 200 orings for $2 and they charged $2 to ship. Lifetime supply for $4!

I've also used smallparts.com but inventory has been spotty lately. I know there are a bunch more suppliers out there.

Here's a link to another thread talking about this very subject back in '07. This discusses what I discovered, now use, and what I do with them. I've also thrown a link in here to the supplier. A pack of 100 of these o-rings is $2.10 before shipping and whatnot.
