I have a briggs 6.75 hp on a sears self propelled mower.
It is not getting fuel I drained gas cleaned carb. Put it back together and it started fine ran about 5 mins. and died. It has done this twice . Any ideas?

Sounds like the gas cap vent hole is clogged, try to run it with the cap off or loose and see if there is a difference. Good luck. Bob

tried with gas cap off still no go

May have a bad needle seat, may not be letting fuel into the carburetor fast enough. When you run it, the fuel drains out of the bowl faster then it can fill it back up.
