Hey guys,

Unfortunately it's not a permanent oval track, but the guys from The Gate are interested in holding oval races. I don't have exact specs on the track, but I think it is a little shorter and wider than Classic was. They are looking to have one right after the Indoor Champs, so probably early December.

I need to know how many guys are interested in running so we can get the ball rolling.

If 13.5 1 cell's involved, I might be interested. I'd see who I could round up from the Jamestown, NY and Erie, PA area to head out there...as long as it's not the weekend of the 19th, as there's a Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour race that day.

Is it going to turn in to a spec race ? We run in michigan 13.5 / 1s but what ever tires, body, motor, and esc you want which is fun. If it is like that i would have two or three guys interested in running !!!

YES, definitely. This place is about the second-closest shop/track to me (Classic is just up the road, literally - but they're all off-road now), and would love to have something closer than Columbus/Beaver (2 hours at least, each way).

Would just need to know dates, what time doors open/racing starts, classes, etc.

Ok, lets try to drum up some support for racing on March 12 then. What classes? I'm in for TOUR 17.5.

I'm in for either TOUR 17.5 Stock or Sportsman Truck - I can go either way.

I would say offer up TOUR 17.5 Sportsman Truck, TOUR 17.5 Stock, and 13.5 CoT, and maybe two other classes - 17.5 SK Mods and 17.5 EDM (like from the Hooter's Tour). Maybe we'll get some guys on an off weekend ;)

Only problem is that weekend is the BRL Finals in Omaha. I know there will be alot of guys from Indiana and Ohio that are going to that race.(March 11-13)

That came up with some others, they'll be going to the BRL.
Would it be worth doing this race the weekend before?
I'm just tossing it out there to see when we can get the most guys to come and play.

As of now, it's the 12th :)

I say stick with the 12th. Beaver is running the week before. So even without the BRL guys, we should be able to round up plenty of Hooter Tour racers and guys who don't want to travel all the way to Omaha.

Things are set for the March 12th race!
I proud to announce CRC will be the sponsor!

On March 11th (Friday) we will be open for practice in the eve (3pm to 9pm)
Doors will open up 7am Saturday.
Practice in the morning and start qualifying at 11.
There's alot of out of town guys who want to start there ride home Saturday after the race, so we'll keep things moving along.

There will be a lunch break...

CRC will be treating us to some pop and pizza :)

We will run 3 qualifiers and a main.

This will be the first race in a 2 race challenge!

The second race will be in April.
More info to come on that....

Points will be based on qualifying positions as well as main finishes.
Total points will be added up after the 2 races and some small prizes will be given out at our second race.
