New to forum...

Just purchase a yard cart with 6 HP Powersport OHV engine. Runs good and steady on flat straight runs. On rough dirt track starts out ok then seams to flood and load up on gas. If i slow down seams to start to run good again. When it loads up I shoot a cloud of blue smoke from the exhaust.

Please direct to a previous thread or give me some help... Can my carb be adjusted to fix this problem?

Thanks,
Jeff

some tecumseh carbs came with a spring on the float pin to keep the float from bouncing around on tillers and go carts. some did not. your float may be out of adjustment also. wouldnt hurt to remove carb and clean it up while you have it off and set float. try that and let us know.

I pull the bowl and take a look. What should that spring look like?

if the spring even exist it will be on the float pin that attatches the float to the carb body. page 20 illustration 55.
