88th division 09-17-2009, 04:31 AM Nice. But the only one I'll be getting out of this group is the Nova. I think it is time to put the Mustang and the Daytona and Superbee to bed.
carhauler 09-17-2009, 08:16 AM I'll take the Nova too and I like the Super Bee with hub caps. "Grabber" Mustang is different and Black Charger looks cool. I never liked the Daytona, still don't and looked forward to '71 Charger but I'll wait for a better color.
jimhowie2000 09-17-2009, 08:48 AM A closer look reveals the 66 Charger has its headlights in the exposed position, an interesting change......
NWovalfan 09-17-2009, 10:39 AM This is a great set! Love those steel wheels with the dog-dishes. Anyone notice the new wheels on the Nova and Charger? And the 6 cylinder engine in the Nova? Sean continues to give us great options and details.... another reason M2 is my favorite manufacturer now!

THANK YOU MAN!!! I love the little 6 cylinder in our Nova. Who else in their right mind has ever tooled up the little 250 straight 6 for a '67 Nova??? And please get out a magnifying glass and look at the beautiful tampo work on the 250 fender emblems. This little Nova also has another little secret coming soon.
FYI, the '66 Charger also has the two rear seats down in the forward position and no front bumper guards.
Thanks,
Sean
edseldave 09-19-2009, 02:32 AM Finally some cars with whitewalls instead of redlines !! I like the 66 Charger without bumper guards too .
71 Charger in my favorite Plum Crazy color ! Will be getting most of this set ...
Any chance of a 67 Cyclone in the future ?? ( I have the real thing for M2 to measure up if needed ..)
carhauler 09-19-2009, 03:37 PM Sean: Could the little secret Nova be spelled Acadian????
edseldave 09-19-2009, 05:54 PM An Acadian would be AWSOME !!! Not many Canadian cars have been done ..
Atencio 09-20-2009, 12:49 AM I like that the Mustang is a regular fastback with optional stripe. Missing hood locks would have been nice touch. Thing I hate about opening features is evident with the Mustang. Stripe is horribly aligned because of door.

I totally agree!
zed300 09-21-2009, 03:50 PM LOVE the exposed headlights on the Charger!
DadsCoronet 09-23-2009, 12:55 PM This is a great set! Love those steel wheels with the dog-dishes. Anyone notice the new wheels on the Nova and Charger? And the 6 cylinder engine in the Nova? Sean continues to give us great options and details.... another reason M2 is my favorite manufacturer now!
Good eye, Brock. But, did GM make 6 cylinder Super Sports? I thought that badging (on rear quarter) was for 8s only....
carhauler 09-23-2009, 08:44 PM Everything I've seen on web says SS Nova's had 6 as std equip through 1967 model.

If I'm not mistaken, you could get a 6 in any SS from Novas, Malibus, and all the way up to Impala SS's. They probably stopped this by '67 or so.
DCPDGUY 09-23-2009, 09:52 PM Dave is almost correct '67 was the last year.

BTW Sean love the change up on the '66 Charger.
NWovalfan 09-28-2009, 04:35 PM Oooo! Just picked up the whole set of R8. Even better looking in your hand! The vinyl top on the Superbee is different from what other companies have done; it's semi-gloss and has a very fine texture. Plus, along with the dog-dish wheels:thumbsup:, there is a bench seat inside! It also seems that QC is better, everything seems to be attached & lined up well. The new 71 Charger is neat too. And, the Daytona has a one-piece nose; no closed "opening" headlights. Got to study more, I'm sure there are some other goodies that have gone un-noticed.
TennTags 09-28-2009, 06:36 PM Good looking cars!
terry9911 09-30-2009, 11:30 AM I bought the light yellow colored Nova since I owned one the exact color and make. I ended up sleeping/living in it for 3 months when I first moved to Florida. Thank goodness it was winter time down here.
