WheelNut 09-14-2009, 05:52 PM Good luck with your new track....my wifes Grandparents lived in Linton and i have many fond memories of times we had there.
nutz4rc 09-14-2009, 06:35 PM The website says 110'. Is that end to end, down a straight, or what. The run line at our dirt tri oval is 215'. This way I would be able to compare. Thanks.
Part Timer 09-14-2009, 09:06 PM I believe that is the straights. It is very big track with an off road inthe middle.

what kind of tires? rubber, foam, open
whats the easiest way to get there from indy? got to ask because google map doesn't always take the easiest way
nutz4rc 09-15-2009, 02:17 PM Part Timer,
Thanks. It would seem it would need to be at least the straights in order to be very large.

It is sticky clay but I think they are allowing any tire since they also run buggies onthe offroad.
The best way from Indy is take 70 to Brazil then get on 59 and take it all the way to Linton.

kzoolou 09-29-2009, 09:55 PM What are the rules for your Late Models? I'm assuming that you are talking about the 2WD LM's and not the 4WD touring car based LM's we run up here in Michigan

The late models were 2wd buggys converted.

Part Timer 10-01-2009, 08:08 PM They measured the runline on the track and it is 230 ft of hard clay! Come on out this sunday and run on the largest indoor dirt oval around. They have tons of pit area and a full service hobby shop onsite.
Part Timer 10-05-2009, 05:33 PM Had a decent turnout yesterday. Only ran mini late model modifieds and 1/10th slider. Track was real sticky and fast. Theya re goign to start racing electric every Sunday at 1:00

what's the rules for sliders ?
ThrottleKing 10-06-2009, 09:13 PM Hey I am in the market for a Custom Works or a Dynatech LM so if anyone knows who has a nice well taken care of car that they might sell, give me a ring. I am probably going all dirt now since I only have an F103 for the carpet.

The sliders are pretty much stock with 2400 Orion LIpo and either stock motor or 13.5 SS Novak. Hope to see you there.
Part Timer 10-16-2009, 12:28 PM I guess last week they ran both electric and gas on the big dirt oval. Tony siad they ahd 6 1/8 gas late models show up along with the electric guys.
ThrottleKing 10-16-2009, 08:14 PM Yes they did and we had some new faces. I plan on being there this weekend and I hope to have some people to run with Late model.
Part Timer 10-16-2009, 08:45 PM I can't make it this weekend but I put an aluminum idler gear in my slider tranny today (Hitting the off road jump with a slider is hard on plastic gears)and hope to be there in a few weeks.:)
indy-25 10-19-2009, 11:01 PM Easiest way to get to the track is either 70 to 231 then across on 54 or 59 south off of 70 they both average about the same time. I would recommend 231 even though you will have to go through spenser.
lil hotshoe 02-20-2010, 10:42 PM i just got a slider and was looking to come up and race can you run a brushless motor and 6 cell
flywheel93 02-20-2010, 10:46 PM I believe I read somewhere that this track closed.
