Got a street address for this place?
cheatr71 09-11-2009, 12:57 AM Andy just google rc performance in madison wi. I don't know the exact address but take 12/18 west from 90 to first light take a right on hwy 51(when on 12/18 look right and you can see storefront on service road). Take next immediate right(arbys and gas station on corner) follow road and take a right onto the service road, and you're there. hope one of these helps.

Thanks Jason. I finally got the address but these directions will help too. Now we know where, when is next!!!
cheatr71 09-20-2009, 09:00 PM I'm pretty sure the doors open at 10am when the business side of it opens, racing started at 12 most days. They have been known to open at 9 a couple of times last year, but since this is test and tune I'd bet it will be 10. We also are done by 4 most times with what ever turn out we had. Its a very enjoyable fast day not all the bs inbetween rounds like at other tracks.
Kevin Koback 09-20-2009, 10:46 PM Are things still on for this saturday? Has it been decided if it's gonna be a practice day, or race day?
jashack79 09-20-2009, 11:58 PM I will find out all details tomorrow. I think just an open practice maybe a practice heat if enough interest.
jashack79 09-21-2009, 08:29 PM Yes RCP will be open for oval practice saturday sept. 26 from 10am-4pm.
We will discuss the upcoming racing season for RCP at the new Hooters of Madison afterwards for all who want to join.
Jason

Jason

MIDWESTRC 10-04-2009, 04:25 PM Jason, practice or racing next weekend?
jashack79 10-04-2009, 06:00 PM Steve,
Nothing at RCP still waiting for the final approval on a schedule. I know Dubeque is racing on sunday, thinking of heading down. The track is about the same size as GB.
Jason
jashack79 10-06-2009, 08:46 PM Spoke with Jim from RCP today and we are all set for another season of oval racing in Madison.
The first race will be Nov. 7 doors will open at 10am and depending on turn out racing at 12 or 12:30. If we have a good turn out they will open doors earlier if they can justify having an employee come in an hour earlier.
The scheduled dates are as follows
Nov. 7
Dec. 5
Jan 16 2010
Feb 20 2010
Mar 6 2010
I am also gonna make a points series with awards and prizes to try to ecourage a good car count at every race.
Hope to see you all there.

C43GO 10-06-2009, 09:22 PM sounds good
jashack79 10-27-2009, 11:47 PM Just wanted to bring this back up that next saturday november 7 will be the first race for the carpet season at RC Performance.
They have once again given oval racing the oppurtunity to shine in the Madison area. Help me make this season big for them and us oval racers.
Bring your sprint cars and minis too, we need to help get new racers involved and interested.
Thanks, Jason Hack

jashack79 11-08-2009, 11:11 PM Thanks to all who made it out saturday, even though it was not a good weekend for me, I smoked a brand new LRP SPX, a 10.5 motor, possibly a 1cell pack that got dumped, and I smoked my gfx tonight while i was cycling that lipo pack.
Hope to see you all at our next race in December. Also Keep an eye out for the Badger Oval series coming soon.

Hitman-98 11-14-2009, 10:25 PM Jason,
Heard a rumor that the oval program got cancelled. This true?
jashack79 11-15-2009, 09:32 AM I will keep everyone posted, but due to lack of growth and participation the oval program may be canceled.
Jason
Hitman-98 11-15-2009, 08:06 PM Well that sucks. I didn't think it was too bad for being 70 degrees outside.
FarroutRacing 11-15-2009, 08:37 PM me eather and for the weekend of oval master too.... if they needed help putting up the road corse i would have helped if that was one of the reasons
jashack79 11-23-2009, 06:09 PM tttttttttttttttttttttttt
FarroutRacing 11-23-2009, 06:36 PM Saturday December 5 will be the last oval race at rcp.
Doors will open at 9 with racing at noon.
Jason hack

Hitman-98 11-23-2009, 09:24 PM thats sucks i will try to make it down there
I agree, it does suck. See you there Jason.
jashack79 11-30-2009, 08:32 PM I will set the track up for you guys friday night after I get done work. I will not be there saturday. I no longer will be racing oval, I guess I just get too frustrated and dont have fun. All my oval stuff is for sale in the swap and sell section.
This will be the last oval race at RCP and I want to thank all who came to race. I guess oval racing is still a dying thing and I am a living example.
Thanks, Jason Hack
cheatr71 12-01-2009, 07:09 PM Jason don't beat yourself up to bad about this oval thing it really is only a toy car. I learned to just have fun I can't beat you or Hays Jr. matter of fact I can't beat most of those guys, I'm about tired of spending money to try and compete also, I do have a VTA ready to go. I'm sorry that madison will not be racing oval anymore but you could see that coming, if the owners don't promote it and don't try to introduce people to it they won't get anybody but the diehards. I stopped in there one afternoon and asked about the oval program and you could just see the disgust in his face for having to talk about making left turns only. They probably should have left the dirt track in with the invention of the slashes, but thats there business I guess.
See ya maybe on Saturday or somewhere at another track racing something someday.
Hitman-98 12-01-2009, 09:27 PM Don't go to all the work Jason, if you aren't even going to race. I agree with Jason V. I don't think they ever wanted to do it anyways.
FarroutRacing 12-01-2009, 10:05 PM those guys r just afriad of a little speed!!! they need right turns to slow them down!!!!! lol
