Went into our local Target today and the Matchbox cars were up to $1.09 each. Has this been that way for a while?

Mine raised the MBs to that price earlier this year after their sale on MBs ended.

While getting the newspaper, I cruised the aisles at Rite-Aid and found the new DD Bus. Got to the register and it rang up $1.89. Almost left it there, but what the heck. Stick with WM for now.

Fortunately, you won't be buying too many of those $1.09 Matchboxes because the pegs will be empty. Walmart is still profitable. They won't have to take the steps Target does. I agree, UT. Now Walmart just has to keep those pegs full.

Just got back from Target. Prices are back to .97. Must have been a trial or something. Maybe I just haven't been in a while.

Zellers here in Canada is a Target equivalent, they're around 1.19 & sometimes 1.39....WM up here keeps them around 1.29. Superstores here have quite a few and they keep them at .98 most of the time.
