Hey, I just saw the new blue '73 Amx on Greenlight's website and I was wondering if there is any difference between it and a '71 AMX?

I think the 73 switched to 2 round taillights on each side.

I think the tail lights are actually squre with rounded corners on them like the 74.
Glad to see them doing this car. I had a yellow 74. I hope they do it in yellow.

I think the roof stamping was changed somewhere in there also..didn't the '71 have a raised bar down the middle....which the '73 or '74 didn't have? Maybe one of the AMC experts know.

I have the 1:25th Johan '71 and '74 Javelin AMX kits in my stash, but haven't looked at them in a while.

I know the 74 did not have the formed roof. I dont beleive the 73 did either but I am not 100% on that one.
