The wife is hooked up with that blockbuster movie thingy..stuff every week.
She told me to give this on a look and...it wasn't bad...

So few movies get enough of my attention to sit and watch or watch/pause...you know the drill.

But this one was pretty good...

Yeah Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal were awesome!

Just kidding. You probably mean the one with paul walker. I caught it on cable a few months ago. I am not a huge PW fan but I got pulled in and when it was over thought it was a great movie!

Running Scared (1986) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091875/) - the one MightyMax mentions. GREAT movie, hilarious and, IMNSHO, stands up well even today. Awesome one liners abound, along with great chemistry between Crystal and Hines. A classic cop comedy that I highly recommend if you've never seen before.

Running Scared (2006) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0404390/) - what I'm assuming - along w/MM, I'm presuming - that steve123 was on about. Paul Walker and Vera Farmiga star in this one, along w/a cast of easily recognizable supporters. I picked it up on a lark while on a Deployment and was NOT disappointed. Starts off a bit... slow...? but more than makes up for it in short order. It's a touch over two hours, but once it got in to the meat of the story I didn't realize how long it was. Good movie that I'll also recommend.

Sorry, guys I'd forgotten all abut the '86 comedy..might be worth a re-look. The wife has a tendency to rent "dreck" stuff I wouldn't even use as a coaster..But when I saw a few minutes of the new running scared I knew I wanted to see it..

No apology necessary Steve. I kinda knew what you meant but couldn't pass an opportunity to poke a little fun over Billy Crystal movie with the exact same title.:)

The new one really is a movie worth a rental or watch if you can catch it on cable like I did.

Cheers,
Max
