Took a quick trip to Super Mega Show in Secaucus, NJ this morning to meet Nancy Allen (RoboCop, Blow Out, Carrie). The show was poorly organized and cramped at the Holiday Inn but Ms. Allen was very outgoing and a true pleasure to meet. I picked up a few autographs from her on pictures from RoboCop and Blow Out (co-starring John Travolta and John Lithgow). Blow Out was filmed in my hometown of Philadelphia.

Ms Allen had no good pics of her with RoboCop, only a posed shot of her with Peter Weller before he became the robot and another of her with Weller after he becomes the robot but all you get is the back of his head. They were black and white photos. I did get the Blow Out picture from her table. Photo dealer Joe Kindle had some nice shots of her as Officer Lewis from RoboCop but just her and no Weller. Whatever, I was happy!

While there, I picked up a Shuttle Tyderium model kit from Return of the Jedi and a fantastic print of artwork based on Chris Reeve's Superman.

All in all, a good time, we were finished in less than two hours and home in time for some chores, a nap, and post these pics!

Man, she was a cutie! A bit surprised her career wasn't more prominent than it turned out to be. She was never better than as the hot b*tch Chris in De Palma's "Carrie".

Funny, I just recently saw RoboCop again and was wondering about how Nancy Allen was doing these days.

I just watched 1941 on DVD with a buddy. She was cute in that. The movie had a few laughs, but overall, not a great movie. Shocking that Spielberg directed it.

1941 was one of Spielberg's few flops although I have always found it to be fun and entertaining. Nancy Allen was smokin hot in 1941. Just my opinion....
