When NEWRAY first came out the detailing of their cars was inferior to others. Did they finally clean up their act?

The 1/43 New Ray rollbacks are better than the earlier New Ray (apx) 1/43 scale automobiles.
I have a set of four: the silver Freightliner pictured; a green International; a red Kenworth and a yellow Peterbilt. The decks on all are the same silver as pictured on the Freightliner.
TSC is not a store I know however I was able to buy my entire set from Diecast Direct. I do not know if that retailer still has the iterms.

I have a bunch of the New Ray rollbacks, trucks, helos and even a couple of 1/43 trac-trailers... although there is a lot of plastic- all the cabs are diecast. for the $ I think they are really good models, and look good next to my 1/43 cars, even with the Gearbox and First Response Replica models

All the trucks pictured are New Ray models, and as you can see... the magnum didn't quite get away.
