I'm rolling without a trailer on this trip. I have a feeling that parking will be limited for trailers. John, are you bringing yours?

Hey Guys. Jeff and I got here around 2:00 this afternoon. Jeff had a real tough time getting here. First he hurt his leg yesterday-for a little while he couldn't walk w/o crutches. Then he was sick the whole morning.
Anyway, Jeff is able to walk w/o crutches although he is limping. Dave and Butch seeing Jeff struggling pulling his cart (with car) came over to our pit area and built a ramp so he could pull his cart up/down the hill with ease.
These are a great bunch of guys with an awesome track! Those of you who couldn't make this event should really find time to visit this track. You won't be disappointed.

Sorry guys...I'm not going to make this race. I'm feeling like crap. I hope its not the swine flu. :freak: Just kidding. I pushed really hard this week to finish a new CAT 5 Disruptor and I picked-up a bug along the way. If anyone is looking for a new car, I have one ready. I was planning on displaying it this weekend at MPR. :(

Vinnie, I have your parts ready. Let me know if you want me to ship them. Sorry man. I was looking forward to meeting you.

Good turn out here. Wheather is a little chilly (at times) but good over all. We haven't started heats yet. In controlled practice. Glad to see that Dave will actually get to race this time!

wanna give joe brooks a big thank you for letting me be the first to drive the truck he just bought and take the win at the tri state race at mpr it was fast but had a hard time turning, but still had a great time to finally get to do some racing and scoring for a change:thumbsup:

Actually he did break his truck. He had the field covered from what I heard and a throttle cable broke and took him out with just a few laps to go. He had birthday cake at the Backyard bar and grill on his birthday.:wave:

It was my first time running the tri-state series (not my last) and it was a lot of fun. Great bunch of guys to race with and lots of good racing.

I have been informed of a possible scoring error in the super truck race. This race was video taped and I will be reviewing the tape from start to finish to determine the final results of this race. This could possibly have an effect on the overall winner in the class. Therefore, please refrain from posting anything relative to the final results of the super truck race.

I will update the points on the thread tonight with a question mark on the super truck final results.

Sean 'THE ROCK" Anderson Finished Second, Sean & Mike Reniger were te only cars on the lead lap... I think Butch Smith was third and that's all I remember...

I thought scoring was determine using the tracks counter and transponders.

Last year at the BHMASR, vidieo showed where I missed the loop 2 times, but all scoring is final according to the computer is what I was told. I went from possibly winning to mid pack.

Not trying to start anything just stating what has been said to me in the past .

I Just don't think we need videos trumping the computers unless it can be done during the race.

I would have to disagree with you Dave, I think the Busch A Main was the best race of the day. MAN can the KFB put on a driving demonstration or what!!!!!:wave:

I feel that every oportunity to determine the proper results should be used. Even Nascar has a camera on the start finish line with a timer going from the start to the finish of every race. If the folks at Alabama want to run there races under that ruling that is up to them. As founder and sponsor of the Tri State I want to try my best that every racer be given a fair deal. I may no always be sucessful but I want to do my best. I am sure the people at MPR agree that whatever determines the proper finishing results should be used.
