You must get to the ends of each cell which is a simple matter of putting a dvm on the battery bars of each cell while discharging. At the very least it can found by feeling the pack with hand and the hot cell is the bad one most likely. At the most the cells need dis-assembled and individually tested in the discharger. If it is a stick pack then each cell can be probed using needles carefully inserted between the sides of the adjacent cell and the shrinkwrap. Then it can be discharged while testing each cell by measuring voltage at the needles. gezer2u 08-23-2009, 09:23 PM If a stick pack, you have to disassemble it. If it is a side by side pack, you can hook the leads from your T35 to the battery bars on each cell. I'm not sure if all the info will be correct, but it will tell you if a cell is bad. (charge time discharge time) like guver said, if a cell is quite a bit hotter then the rest, it is bad. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
