Duke
Mel and Al, I think it is your only task Saturday to deflate that super tan, relaxed from vacation head. I know you can do it!
I heard on Fox News that United Airlines had to bring in a special Freight plane to Mexico because one of the passengers was unexpectedly bloated. They honored the ticket because when it was purchased, the modest gentleman who bought it seemed okay to fly. If the bloating would have been evident at the time of purchase, they would have made him buy a freight ticket then.

i think they said it was a military cargo plane.. regular cargo planes still werent big enough to carry him
Racknor 10-15-2009, 08:10 AM Deano took his parts back so no gear for Dave's truck this weekend. So it will be up to Doug, Al, or Mel.
toytech 10-15-2009, 01:43 PM After all the talk I understand that that truck was fast becuase of Deano motorsports looks like we are still on top :woohoo: never left:tongue:

Or better yet how about a flyer?
OvalTrucker 10-17-2009, 01:38 PM I have started a flyer. Just need some time to finish it.
Next MP race is Nov. 21.
Brittamaster 10-17-2009, 02:15 PM 21st I hope I can make that one
WIGMAN 10-22-2009, 03:08 PM Hey Keith, if I make it down with Casey on the 21st can you hook me up with a truck???
I hear you and deanno went into the car owners business.
Joel
Racknor 10-22-2009, 03:48 PM I was but it got so big it was taking away from my cars. So the trucks have been going out the door.
Promatchracer 10-22-2009, 04:41 PM I think team KC Hobbies might have a shot
I should have a filed of 3 SST's and 1 COT I just need a body for the COT
Also the bunny truck did ok at Saint Ignace and it made it around the track with only a few pellets left on the track
Later
RayMusser 10-22-2009, 04:47 PM Kasey did you send my speed control?

I wondered where those last dozen or so pellets ended up. They were intended for Keith. Glad to hear the body is still getting used by somebody. I wish I still had it so I could see how it mounts to the Dart - I'm thinking of dropping down to the SST class. But I hate how it had to be mounted to the Hangman.
Promatchracer 10-23-2009, 03:41 PM I redid the mounts Well actually Joel did the work I borrowed some of the design from Mel
Take a shock cross brace I think it's called and mounted that to a the nromal shock mounts via a stub post and just bolted that on top
And than put teh new body mounts where I wanted them I will call you too
Also Ray you should have the ESC any day now It went out yesterday The wife has been in and out of the Dr's and Hospital for test so it slipped my mind until I came to the shop yesterday
Also If anybody needs anything Please LMK I need to get some extra stuff sold off as the wife wont be back to work until after the 5th
Thanks

get a McAllister body they don't have the rollbar on the back so they are easier to mount.
Casey - Thanks for the info and the chance to chit-chat on the phone, it told me what I needed to know. Sounds like I'd have to make the piece to go on the shock tower just like I had to for the Hangman. I'm not interested in doing that, so I'm going to stick with the COT class.

yep, thats what i did, i have a new toyota mcallister body if someone needs
OvalTrucker 10-24-2009, 11:34 PM I have not had any trouble mounting a Protoform Truck body on a Hangman?
I'm getting ready to mount a new one this weekend.
What's the big deal?
Mike D. 10-25-2009, 12:51 AM just need longer body post for the protoform bodies, the roll bars are molded in, the mcallister body comes with roll bars that have to be attached. (lower rear body posts)

OvalTrucker 11-03-2009, 09:48 AM Thanks Ray!
If it had wings, it could just fly to the top by itself...
Duke Bradshaw 11-04-2009, 11:16 AM If it had wings, it could just fly to the top by itself...
Help me with the comments about the wings deal?

OvalTrucker 11-04-2009, 11:42 AM It's a joke. Well, now it is.
Last season one of our more "excitable" racer's felt we needed to put wings on our cars in an effort to make the racing better. So now we joke about it.
It's all in good fun!:)

Racknor 11-04-2009, 03:15 PM How do I explain what a Duke is?????? Well sit back and put your feet up this may take awhile.
Duke: He is the most loving, caring, greatest RC track promotor that has ever walked the face of this earth. I have seen this person go to his shop and bring out several cars just so people can race. Boy can he make a dirt oval track! It is as smooth as a babied butt. Other than that one blade of grass that keeps showing up as soon as Brian gets there. Sorry Brian I guess I told him who was putting it there.
He has also been the center fold for RC magazine several times. Scott he reminds me alot of you.
OvalTrucker 11-04-2009, 03:38 PM I will have to digest that last post before I respond.:)
