Keith - thanks for the good advice in your earlier PM! I did like you said and sold the Tekins. I just checked the tracking number you sent me and those two new Mamba Pro ESCs are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. So the problem is now solved.

Holy Ray's! I leave for 5 hours and come back and my innocent name has been used 147 times! All I said was I want to run the truck with my bestest buddies! Duke I am starting to feel like you. (Why does everybody pick on me) No answers are needed. I missed racing with all of you this year. It was not the same. I enjoy working with some of you on how to pass driver without touching (to hard). Not the Mel, Greg, or Brian way. Allmost forgot Mark. Yes both of them.

The new me. Duke Jr.
I quit.
What did I do?
Can I buy your car?
Keith you need a servo?
Keith you need a motor?
Greg help me.
Scott they are picking on me.
Who wants some top secret srings? I don't know what this is, but I'm pretty sure I want some.
What is this new set up now?
Why do you guys keep coming up with these setup?
We don't get no practice.

Ray - they are just springs without the pee. These are going to be very popular! Not quite as much as wings, but close.

If we made a handicap for the tekin and mamba, it would eliminate all the teching.

If you run a tekin or mamba, or any of the "fast" esc's, then you have to run a 17.5 motor. I think that would even it out. No connecting to computers or whatever.

I tend to find this stuff to late to comment. As I was reading the first few pages I was thinking "why not make the Tekin and Mambas run 17.5 and run what ever software they want" LMAO

Can I have my spoon back too:thumbsup:

This is one of the reasons I am getting a RS. I need it for stock class in off road too lol

I didn't order a Ballistic, Keith said he had a couple he would toss into the box. Said they were a little hard to turn, maybe because they had gotten just a touch over 150 degrees last time he used them. He said to just ignore the burnt smell, that just meant they were broken in.

I thought about having trouble fitting that Mamba in the Dart, so I traded Duke the two Darts for something he said "could really take it in the rear". Not sure what he meant, but I think that means the Mamba goes on the back of the pod.

I'll probably put it all together for the summer, then sell it and go back to the Darts and Tekins before Fall...

Keith does know how to breakem' in that is for sure!:)
Rob you are tooooo funny!

Oh by the way, if you want to go fast you Will need to get rid of those Dart's and the Tekin!!!! Leading Edge all the way!!!!!!! and don't for get the MMP speedo if you are running an open speedo class. But what will be the biggest bang for anyone that wants to go fast will be the Duke "Top Secret" springs!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great plan. If you soak those Ballistics in Laundry soap for a week they will come out smelling spring time fresh!

One in the rear, two in the Duke, top secret springs, darts with MMP, what next out of you find bunch of guys that need a real job. Ray this is for you to.

Keith - that package just got delivered. I thought you were sending me some Mamba ESCs, not some MoonPies. And those motors were no good, Ray said they had some kind of yellow substance in them. Is that how you were making those fast srings?

Duke - I'm gonna have to renig on that deal and keep the Darts. Should be OK, as I haven't received the PayPal money from you yet.

Scott - Guess I'm going to have to insist that the Tekin stay legal for SST and Spec. I only mess with you because I can!

I am lost for words after reading the last 20 post. Greg someone has been absolutly lying to you.

Scott you are slipping! Nothing about wings.

Where is that Jamie kid? When I am working I am counting on you to cover for me.

RobD
04-23-2010, 01:29 PM
Gosh Keith, I think that is the 2nd time this week you've been lost for words. I think we should start worrying that more than your driving skills are fading.

Scott, don't listen to Keith about wings, that was so last year. Spiked tire caps are the new fad, and should be required on all classed #3 and higher.

Jamie is around, you just haven't seen or heard him like the rest of us. Hmmm, hearing and eyesight are going now too? Duke, you better start digging a hole in that dirt track of yours, I think Keith is going to need a dirt nap soon.

SST
13.5 Open
Spec maybe ill just hide the MMP under the batt and nobody will ever know!!!
Mod 1/18th Mini

Just kidding about the MMP i dont want to stir to hard i know its a touchy subject! But i do want to run WINGS!! On all my cars except SST of corse unless we add a WING that would be the Best!!! I got it all covered Racknor thanks for reminding me....lol
