Funny story,
I had Mel all figured out by the time the second heat race was over.
Then, I dialed my truck to a totally different channel in an effort to "keep up with the track".
It was sooo loose I was afraid I'd cause "the big one"!
So, I parked it.
I thought about running it full speed into a wall.;)
I'll leave that trick for the pros.

UPDATE!!!

I'll be taking to new carpet to the carpet store today to have the pieces put together!

We will only have 3 rolls to put down and tape. Track setup time should be shortened considerably which will make for more practice time on Friday nights. If you need it.;)

Keith- do you have any extra "yellow" axle nuts? You know, those special ones that you MUST have to make the code yellow setup work.

This will be a sad day for me....I will not have a truck to run on Sat.:cry:

I don't think I will have my new one ready for the race.

But my plan is to race with Brian in the 10.5, using the method of acceptable driving used by Greg Dean and Mel "The King of the SST" so all is not a loss! This will be a fun event for me! (I hope the car comes home in one piece)
