Jayme Riley, you have a PM.
See ya'll tonight!
Roadsplat 02-12-2010, 07:57 AM So are we still meeting at 5:00 to get the track layed out?
OvalTrucker 02-12-2010, 10:23 AM Yes, 5pm at the school.
They are having a dance in the cafeteria after school. They are supposed to be done at 5.
Either way, we can start loading in the carpet at 5 so it can get warmed up. It's been in my garage for a few weeks so it's COLD!
If Deano comes early he can show the kids some of his dance moves!
If anyone has questions feel free to call me 989-621-0922.
Doors open at 9:00? Ponderosa at 8:00?

Make sure you guys all get your stories straight.:p
I have to miss the race tomorrow, but am hoping that me and boys can come up and see the new carpet and watch a little of the racing action. That means Keith is going to have to do some kind of entertainment gig, because me and the girls won't be putting on a buggy skit this month. I know you guys always look forward to race #3...

The discussions will be anything but small.
I have some great strategy options we can implement.
It'll make getting DUKED feel like a warm soft fuzzy bunny caressing your nose.
The west-siders won't know what hit 'em. And that's the way it should be!:)
It'll make getting DUKED feel like a warm soft fuzzy bunny caressing your nose.
The bunnies will all be in Clare tomorrow, so there will have to be some substitute caressing. :freak:

kevinm 02-13-2010, 07:41 PM Here are the results from race #5.
OvalTrucker 02-13-2010, 08:24 PM Thanks to everyone that helped out this month at the MP track.
Jim Hanson, your efforts are beyond explanation. You know how to run a show!
I also want to make sure that John Sparks, Mark Ciecek, Tim Briggs, Don Dietsch, Brian Burch, Jayme Riley, Steve Walton and Ray Clark realize how important it was to have your help on friday afternoon. Your manual labor and intellectual input is priceless! I probably missed somebody and I apologize for that. Everyone that was there helped alot!
I have heard nothing but good things about the new carpet and the new layout.
I wish I had news about the April race, but I don't. Scheduling conflicts have not allowed Tim to meet with the people who set the dates.
As soon as I know something I'll post it here.
P.S. I out-qualified Brian Burch today at MP. :)
I really liked the layout of the new track, and the carpet looks really good. Wished I could have actually tried it out, but that's another story.
And I'm going to second on Scott's comment - Jim you do an excellent job of running things from that table. Things just go click with you up there, and you even manage to involve some of us from the peanut gallery. Good job!
kevinm 02-13-2010, 10:12 PM I'm not sure if it was the new carpet or what, but three classes today saw 2 LAPS added to the track records: Greg Dean in 10.5 Pan car, Jeremy Sheets in Mod 18th and Mel Letts in SST.

Rick is looking for a top notch driver for one of his legends but I don't know if that would apply to you anymore. Oh I saw a goldfish bowl on craigslist. Only holds two fish. Might be a bit more than you can handle at this time though. You might want to start out with one guppy. hehehehehe!!!!!!!!!

OvalTrucker 02-17-2010, 02:25 PM NEWS FLASH!!
MP will have an April race!
April 10th!
I apologize in advance if this conflicts with any other schedules.
We don't get to pick the dates here.
Promatchracer 02-17-2010, 02:44 PM Scott That works out great
My Spring Fling warm up race is in the 18th so works great for me
Thanks for all you and Tim do for MP racing and all the others that help out
It's always a great relaxer for me to go to MP and race
OvalTrucker 02-18-2010, 02:20 PM Well as it turns out April 10th is the same day as a Bay City raceday.
Apparently the "master schedule" was not referenced by the people that chose the April MP date.
Far be it from me to suggest that anyone change thier plans. If you are planning on BC on April 10, by all means you should support the BC track. It's only fair in my opinion.
Promatchracer 02-18-2010, 05:46 PM Hey Scott I have your Balls and your Hotwire too LOL
That just sounds wrong but what the Hay
Later
