Just getting a feel for what RC community thinks. I have talked about this with Duke at Raceplex and Duck at M40 also like to add more tracks. Still have not decided on how long it will be and what days.

Similar to the Tri-County, but different: Have a 5 or 6 race series on the West side, a simultanious 5 or 6 race series on the East side and then at the end of the season an East vs West Shootout somewhere central for all. Have a series for nitro and one for electric.... What do you guys think?

Could almost do an 'invitational' sort of class between top points guys between east and west. Top 5 or 6 from east, top 5 or 6 from west for each class.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Maybe top 10 in each class from each side of the state and have a 2 day final event....

That is a good idea. Keep them coming nothing has been quite finalized as of yet.

Also what about doing a 3, 4, 5, or 6hrs enduro. 3 man team, one vehicle, equal split on drive time, while one drives, the other pits, and the other marshals. I vote for 6 hrs.

well i have to drive 2hrs for all the tri county races unless its at romans, the VRL theres 2 of the 6 that are only about 1/2hr away and the rest are minimum 1hr away which work for me, morl, just to quiet for me..:tongue:

would there be trophys or ribbons for each event would be nice to stay on west side but my kid really wants to get some sort of prize for getting in the top 3 he is new to hobby and it gives him something to look forward to and keeps him off the video games

For our series at the end it will be 1st-3rd getting trophies based on standings, your son would be in Novice. We are racing this weekend starts at 11 am stop by and race or just check it out. I will be glad to explain everything in person.

Every race that we had last year we did ribbons for the regular races.

Duke you are already there and yes I agree stay local and support local tracks :thumbsup: And if anyone is catching on this thread is for supporting the VRL series and getting feedback for this series and many great local racing 2010thumbsup:

Novice kids run what they bring, Adults have the slash class but I haven't put limits on it as far as tires, All of the ones that have run so far where the titan motor running, but I won't be to picky with things this year as the object is to get people racing. 13.5 is stock for the truck class.
