Two of my K-Marts have done resets with no pegs for GL.:(
Also, it was hinted at on the Greenmachines thread.
That would just leave me with TRU and Meijer.

My local K-MART put 2 cases out today. One case was MCG, and the other case was Country Roads. I saw 23 Greenlight cars hanging on the pegs. A friend of mine got the Green Machine (he showed me the GM). I think MCG was priced at $4.39 each, and Country Roads was priced at $4.59 each.

Kmarts are still carrying Greenlight:thumbsup:; however, they will only be in "select" stores. Not exactly sure what a select store is though:confused:
nothing new here. but they have 4 pegs for greenlight in the christmas reset.
if you read the other thread on this in green machines, i believe 50 percent of k-marts dropped diecast collectables. yours may be one.
here the only diecast that really sells is hot wheels. it's a buck. they end up liquidating the greenlights for $2.00 almost all the time.
and although greenlight quality seems much better, last year a 12 pack case of corvettes was so poorly made, with tires coming off, paint flaking, doors off..........that the manager packed it back up and sent it straight back to corporate headquarters. i showed the mess to him, and he said no way he was putting diecast, all broken, that were brand new, up for sale at $4.00 a pop. so he taped the box up, and sent it back to michigan.
but, the greenlights they have been getting lately seem alot better quality. but even then, people here don't have $4.00 to spend on a piece of diecast, unless it's a green machine.
even the pixar events are a lost cause. they still have a complete master case in storage from the last pixar car days here as only 2 people showed up, and the pegs are full now. $3.70 a pop is to much.

Must be nice to pay $4 bucks a car. After tax here it's almost $6 bucks..

My local Kmart never discounts their old stock . They still had 5 '63 Chryslers from release 4 !! At full price . I asked at service desk about discount & was told only when corporate tells them , do they mark prices down .. I dont think this store is a 'selected' one , as there rarely is anything new in diecast there .. & its near our only shopping mall ..
Kmart will continue to carry GreenLight for the foreseeable future. They have reduced their collector die-cast set to approximately 50% of stores (all brands, not just GreenLight).
