I vote TOUR rules. I'm guessing we will be sharing some of the Marshall's crowd, so it would be good to be consistent with them.
Personally, I would prefer to migrate to 13.5 & 10.5 1c (in preparation for ovalmasters, etc). I realize a lot of the Jackson locals are invested in 21.5, so if everyone is running that class, then I'll follow suit.

you could start with running 10.5 1 cell with 21.5 2 cell to start the season and see where things go. at marshalls i was just as fast as i was with my 21.5

Good idea. It's that time of year to replenish batteries, and I don't plan on buying any more 2c packs.

Now that's funny right there.

matt rem 08-25-2009, 05:07 PM I would like to see either 13.5 or 10.5, 13.5 seems very popular. One class may be better so its a good field and not so watered down. It works at Jackson. And any body, Nationwide or COT
cwinters 08-25-2009, 09:17 PM I'm ok with 13.5. I would like to stick with the TOUR rules if possible though. I think Marshall's is going to go the TOUR route as well as Turn4 and I think Trax70 as well, though I'm not sure about the last one.

So 13.5 COT is the TOUR rules, So thats a one body class. I am ok with that.

Cool. Should be a nice run indoors. Do you know the status of the track at this point?
Chuck
matt rem 08-25-2009, 10:41 PM I know that Jeff is working on getting the account set up with PECO for the electric and plans to have the keys soon, they could be in as soon as Sept 1st I think.
The onlything up in the air with the oval is someone or a group of people that will be able to run the races, Jeff and those guys are going to run on Saturdays with the roadcourse. They aren't going to be there for 2 days every weekend. Pretty much what is needed is someone to call the races and run the computer. They are 100 percent for having oval races, just are going to need some help from the oval crowd to get it done
cwinters 08-28-2009, 04:17 PM Jeff,

Pete, you got a PM.

gordie 08-28-2009, 07:41 PM 13.5 cot, 10.5 whatever
coffeman 08-28-2009, 08:59 PM Never ran on carpet what color tire do they use????
Al Spina Fan 08-28-2009, 09:05 PM 4 yellows.
That's what Verbonitz told me my first day on carpet. I think I went through 6 sets that day.
Actually it will depend on the brand but white, black, grey and green are basic starting points for the oval.
Al Spina Fan 08-28-2009, 09:08 PM Pete, you got a PM.
Chuck

Jeff Cuffs 09-14-2009, 07:57 PM Carpet will be here tomorrow. Will be working on the track this sat. Opening day could be as early as the 26 for the road coarse and if someone steps up for the oval program could be the next day for oval..
