IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The last race of our season has been changed! We will no longer be running at the Riverside track. So we needed to change the venue. I have recieved confirmation that we can run our last race at the Orange Show Quarter Midget track in San Bernardino. The only issue with this is that we need to change the date from November 7th and 8th to the following weekend November 13th and 14th. This will be open practice till night time Friday, then a complete show on Saturday w/ the Awards Banquet to follow that night... wanted to get this out as soon as possible to allow the ones who travel adequate time to change any plans already made. The track is about 10 minutes away from the Riverside track so in reality the same hotels could still work for the out of towners. We will be able to camp there over night Friday. But the track will be locked up Saturday night after the races. We are still having the banquet that Saturday night as well. The final plans for that have not been made at this time but will be worked out as soon as possible... Call me at 909-638-8976 or email me at aandrews93@msn.com if you have any questions or comments...
Thanks,
Denny Andrews

Here's some pics off the website of the track... As you can see its a beautiful facility... I want to also let everyone know that we do have to pay a "rent" for the use of the track, So i really hope we can get a good turn out to make it worth while... we have the opportunity to make this our "So Cal" track for the future so lets plan on making a good show to insure our future there...
So lets see a show of hands of whos planning on making this race...

Hey Doug M.

I got your message from last night, sorry i didn't get the call, my son let me know this morning he might have hung up on someone last night, lol... guess he didn't like the ringing disrupting his Xbox... Anyways, yes there is camping available for Friday night only... They want the track locked up Saturday night. So you might need to find a Wal-Mart for Saturday night or something. You'd be more than welcomed to join us for our banquet Saturday night as well (Details still to be finalized) Hope you can make it out, that would be great!!!

And that goes to anyone out there... The more the merrier!!!

The banquets we have usualy range from $25 to $35 per person depending on the venue, always has been great food!!! I will give more details as I figure it out...

Thanks!

Denny,
I guess that means we can leave the traylors there on Saturday night
so we can race on Sunday the 15th. But we can not camp over nite on
Saturday, but Friday is OK????

Thanks
Tom

Hey Tommy... This will be our last race of the season with the banquet to follow. So as we used to do we will be running a one day show and having the banquet that Saturday night. Just like we used to in the past. So Friday will be practice til dawn, then a complete show on Saturday, 2 rounds of heats (maybe one round depending on time) then the mains to follow...

Like i stated before the details for the Banquet have not been made yet, they will be posted as soon as they can be...

No problem Denny, your note said 14th and 15th. One day show is ok with
me. If you can make sure the location for the Banquet has a parking lot
that can handle the trucks and traylors, that would be great. I don't know
where I can park the beast.

My son runs his Quartermidget at this track and I can honestly say that its one of if not the nicest track around that is dedicated to one class of cars and for kids to boot. I think it will make a very good venue for racing 1/4 scale. The size is great and the barriers are "soft" so the damage should be minimal. Its very smooth too!

I am suprised they wont let you spend the night saturday too. It may be so the club members can use the track sunday. Every weekend, its pretty busy over there.
