View Full Version : what would be the most sought after Motormax car at this point? MotorHeadbanger 08-16-2009, 05:27 PM thx:) tamiyatim 08-17-2009, 10:25 PM the 1970 Challenger?? No_Ice_Kustoms 08-17-2009, 10:41 PM the F Series Trucks!!!!! craftymore 08-17-2009, 11:27 PM I'd agree with No Ice, the F Series trucks & esp the F-350 casting is stunning. They were quite hard to find here in the states but I've had Canadian collectors say they were abundant up north. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk259/craftymore/Car%20of%20the%20Day/IMG_2850.jpg Ernest Hughes 08-18-2009, 03:11 AM I sure would like to score at least one. Snow owl 08-18-2009, 05:25 AM In my area every Motormax is sought after. Have not seen a single one in quite a while. stretchdog 08-18-2009, 10:32 AM I agree with No ICE as well. The F Series HD Trucks were a hit here!! azslogan 08-18-2009, 12:52 PM Yes, they should revisit the F-350 trucks. Maybe some different bodies - a wrecker, ambulance, etc. dragonhead00 08-19-2009, 02:32 AM I had them in my hand. Maybe I made a mistake when I put them back. Oh well... canadiancat 08-20-2009, 04:24 PM If this is including the Fresh Cherries and American Grafitti ones I would say the Lebaron wagon Moparnutty 12-06-2010, 05:04 AM For me it's this http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u25/sylentjohn/marcstoys006.jpg Can't even tell what series it's from. GeraldE61 12-07-2010, 01:05 PM The Harley Truck series was the best, the Auto Fest Vegas are up there for me as well. 94SS 12-08-2010, 02:35 PM 1/64 Ford Granada...need it:) Snow owl 12-08-2010, 03:03 PM 1/64 Ford Granada...need it:) Agreed. I personally feel that Motor Max are as mythical as the unicorn and dragons. Scott Moen 12-08-2010, 05:49 PM Well for me, it is this one ...... http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l182/WisMach1/Mustangs%20Wanted/MotormaxFreshCherriesMustangII-Ligh.jpg I have been looking for this one since they came out. I know this color was in one of the American Graffiti sets, but that one has the AG logo on the rear quarter panel. Anyone have an extra one of these tucked away ? Please let me know if you do. Thanks. Scott anvpny@sbcglobal.net Scott Moen 12-08-2010, 05:50 PM For me it's this http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u25/sylentjohn/marcstoys006.jpg Can't even tell what series it's from. Have they done one of these with a MUSTANG in it ? If so, does anyone have a picture of it ? Scott CraigO 12-08-2010, 06:50 PM For me, it's this car...these are mine, i've heard there is a third silver color? bought these at wm on clearance, 50 cents each.. http://i927.photobucket.com/albums/ad116/JLCraigO/Banmuda/DSC01602.jpg 72challenger 12-16-2010, 04:53 PM If anybody is still looking for the F-Series HD Fords, lemme know as they are warming the pegs at a local discount chain. stanmmx 12-18-2010, 02:26 AM Dear All: Three of them: the Fords (have one), the Dodge Diplomats (the ones in 1/64 do not show up even at e Bay) and the 1/64 scale Honda Civic. Do not have any, and these are also a pain to find. The Fords and Diplomats were well made. Snow owl 12-19-2010, 09:56 PM I was lucky. A few years ago Mini Motors had the Diplomats. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll112/snowowl1960/Fury4.jpg Love to find the Granada, and the Challenger from last year. stanmmx 12-20-2010, 06:43 PM Dear All: Regarding the Diplomats, I was lucky this year: at e Bay, someone was selling the same pair shown above as a buy-it-now deal, so I reacted immediatelly. I been hunting the final of the Fresh Cherries miniatures at e Bay last year, and except for the Civic, I got them all. The Granada I have is packaged under the American Graffiti series and I bet on another which (I left it go) went at very high price (around $50.00). The Dodge Omni was equally as difficult to spot, but when I found one, I also went for it. I also do have their final selection of 1/87 scale models and managed the find the two Hondas and Granada molded in HO size. They should return to 1/64 scale.
