NovakTwo 08-16-2009, 01:01 PM Anyone remember who made the aluminum "BRL" cover for the Novak brushless ESC and is still available? We added the Novak plate to our on-line store a while ago, due to requests from forum members: GTB 4-Cell Heat Sink Plate (http://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=S4CPL/135.0.56.58610.0.0.0) THE DARKSIDE 08-16-2009, 01:40 PM Anyone remember who made the aluminum "BRL" cover for the Novak brushless ESC and is still available? Shoot me an e-mail eric@darksidems.com if you are interested. -E Andy Koback 08-16-2009, 03:35 PM "Thanks" guys! NovakTwo 08-17-2009, 12:03 PM Because of this question about the GTB plate, I thought I should mention that we still offer the GTB 4-cell on line: Novak GTB-4Cell Speed Control (http://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=S1715N/135.0.5995.4847.0.0.0) I saw an order for one in the store this AM. Also, the existing plate is also compatible with the Havoc Pro controller: Novak Havoc Pro Speed Control (http://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=1735/135.0.5995.4847.0.0.0) We are seriously considering having a new plate (or a low profile heat sink) made for our up coming Havoc 1S esc. That would make it more appealing for 1/12 scale use. jdearhart 08-17-2009, 01:31 PM Whats the difference between the Havoc Pro and GTB? NovakTwo 08-17-2009, 02:10 PM Whats the difference between the Havoc Pro and GTB? The difference is primarily in the on-board programming. The GTBs had several adjustable profiles, the Havoc Pro has 9 adjustable parameters from a single motor mapping area. I think we have also incorporated several new prog options developed for other controllers. The systems include our new (ROAR-approved)Ballistic Spec motors---a major feature for these systems. Therefore, these products will replace the earlier GTB/SS Pro systems for @195.00 "street price". This summer we are releasing our Havoc "affordable" line of products, clearing the way for our racer items in the Fall. Adding these new product to distribution, while removing earlier items and systems. slots 08-17-2009, 05:08 PM How to make a GTB (or any other Novak ESC) "Cap. 1) Go to lhs. 2) Go to K&S metal display 3) Buy 4 x 10 sheet of 1/16" aluminum 4) Remove esc heat sink 5) Trace outline and drill mounting holes 6) Cut out and clean up with a file. 7) Install 8) Repeat as many times as needed.
