We added the Novak plate to our on-line store a while ago, due to requests from forum members:

Because of this question about the GTB plate, I thought I should mention that we still offer the GTB 4-cell on line:

I saw an order for one in the store this AM. Also, the existing plate is also compatible with the Havoc Pro controller:

We are seriously considering having a new plate (or a low profile heat sink) made for our up coming Havoc 1S esc. That would make it more appealing for 1/12 scale use.

The difference is primarily in the on-board programming. The GTBs had several adjustable profiles, the Havoc Pro has 9 adjustable parameters from a single motor mapping area. I think we have also incorporated several new prog options developed for other controllers.

The systems include our new (ROAR-approved)Ballistic Spec motors---a major feature for these systems. Therefore, these products will replace the earlier GTB/SS Pro systems for @195.00 "street price".

This summer we are releasing our Havoc "affordable" line of products, clearing the way for our racer items in the Fall. Adding these new product to distribution, while removing earlier items and systems.

How to make a GTB (or any other Novak ESC) "Cap.

1) Go to lhs.
2) Go to K&S metal display
3) Buy 4 x 10 sheet of 1/16" aluminum
4) Remove esc heat sink
5) Trace outline and drill mounting holes
6) Cut out and clean up with a file.
7) Install
8) Repeat as many times as needed.

I once did things like this.

Until I figured out how much my time was worth.....:)

LOL how about take off purple heatsink take 4 in grinder with sanding pad 2 min later its flat .:thumbsup:
