I'm going to consider getting one of these. I have one those RPM pinion cases which are a joke if you run anything with more than 30 teeth on it.

I interested in seeing how the pinion racks are working out for you guys who have purchased them. I hope it is all good.
I have some more in stock and have material to make more, but I am waiting to see how racers like like them.

Thanks, Dave

dave, the pinion rack is cool design, however the dowl stock your using doesnt fit into the pinions. i think you need a smalled diameter metal rod. also i think you could save yourself time instead of making it double sided. just make it one sided but supply the rods longer so you can put multiple gears on each shaft. i tried to use mine yesterday and had a hard time to get the gears off. hope this helps ya
p.s. i sent you a pm on friday askin u to call me

Sorry Jayro, I have been out of town.
I can get 3mm pin material which is .118 dia. compared to 1/8 dia. pins which are .125
I think that will fix the problem.

I agree, I just got a set of pinions in and I had an extremely hard time placing the pinions on the pins, there were a few that just would not go.

Other then that I am very happy with the design.
