Is the SMC 25c 1c Lipo pack going to be the only legal battery in the 1c Lipo classes? Or are all current ROAR approved packs allowed?

Good enough..... I could,nt remember what the agreed time table for the 25c was, Sept or Oct? Doing a wait and see till I buy any new Lipos.

what is a good starting point on roll out for 21.5 2cell at MTR

Hey Wingnut.. what speedo? I will pump up the local board to get someone to shoot a good starting spot.

Racing the past few weekends have been great at MTR, with the big one day show this weekend. Should be a great time!

We have pitting available here (all 1st come 1st serve):
Trackside along corners 3/4 (bring table,chair, tent and cord)
Inside the A/C room (bring tables and chair and 5 bucks)
In the picnic pavillion (2 racers per picnic table)
Along the track fence (North side / East side / West side)
Tons of trees to find and pit under too

Food and drinks will be available Sunday!
Practice Saturday NOON-DARK
Practice Sunday 7AM-10AM

Last week I qualified second at 56 laps with 3.46 rollout. 100 spur 52 pinion and 2.12 tires. I was running full timing in novak 21.5 with 15 boost in speedo.

what is a good starting point on roll out for 21.5 2cell at MTR

IT REALLY DEPENDS ON MOTOR AND SPEEDO THAT YOU WILL BE USING BUT 3.15 SHOULD GET YOU PRETTY CLOSE

I ran 3.08 in main was real fast.

We are expecting an awesome day of racing this upcoming Sunday at MTR. Trophies have arrived and I should have a picture up on www.rcthunder.net Thursday. There will be some practice Saturday so come on out if you want to get a little dialed in. Racing Sunday starts at 10:30am with 3 heats and a main. 17.5 will have a chance to race for $200.00 in the 'DASH FOR CASH' race! Something for everyone this Sunday with COT, 21.5 car, 21.5 truck, 17.5, and SK Modifieds. We will have the A/C pit room open with room for about 30 racers (1st come 1 serve and all new 4 a/c units in there)... and the picnic pavilion is open. We also have tons of room on three sides of the track and trackside in 1/2. Food and drinks will be cookin' thanks to Mama Floyd (BBQ, dogs, more!). Tech by Bill LaFoe and Announcing by Ken Holmes. Come have some fun racing R/C cars this weekend at MTR!

mike was is the ruling on the rotor size? are tuning rotors allowed?

Rotor sizes as they come box stock... same brand same size changes allowed but no hybrids. I will have a meter and motor lists if anyone wants a motor checked this weekend please come see me. ZOOM ZOOM!

DOG DAY 'DASH FOR CASH'

10 car A-MAIN in 17.5 LiPo.
Top 5 Finishers in the main advance to the DASH.
TQ car locked in (could be 6 car DASH if he doesn't make top 5).
Draw straws for starting position.
1 car per row.
DASH will be a LAP RACE.
Winner of dash gets $200.00.

Billy Bruce and David Preston led the speed charts but some very fast cars! About 20 showed to practice which is awesome. We had a little rain but with the help of many the track was back perfect in an hour. The park is ready to rock n' roll with tons of places to pit trackside/inside/and covered. If you are thinking of coming, it is going to be a great race! Hope to see ya here for the action. Practice until 10:30am. Come on!
