Maybe I shouldnt even ask, but whats funny about it? or where you talking about grunt66's comment.

Personally I like the idea behind their efforts. I am new to this hobby, and can already see why they are working hard to grow the RC community. We just dont have the numbers that we should have or want to have.

This is a great idea, and if they are willing to help out the racers by providing large scale events, and even club races, then thats something we should all want to be part of. At least thats how I feel about it.

EDIT: well, I guess that user is banned now anyway, so I think it was a joke. lol

Should get exciting really quick. Think about how far its come just since spring.

I'll join only if Heffae promises not to beat me in the truggy class ever again AND he has to coach me and tell me to stay calm over and over while losing to me. I'm actually still waiting for the shirts. I pre-ordered 1 a while back when orders were being taken for them. I can't guarantee I'll be able to help at all the events but I'll donate to the cause anyways. I'll send you an email.

In regards to $25.00 donation to Tony's @ 131 - yep, I did that too!
Keeping in mind that the east side of Michigan has at least two indoor tracks to pick from I think we could have a ton of racers here this winter keeping something local, besides, you can only enjoy pulling the snowblower out so many times before you're totally sick of the winter. Virus Racing is not a club but it will pull together racers and make the hobby bigger in W/MICH than ever before, I for one am tired of traveling to the other side of the state 7 out of 8 weeks to race the big ones.

i think most of are tired of going way over ther to race the big ones, we have alot of tracks on this side and they dont want to have a showing here, i would love to join the team but cash is always a little short, you guys are the best all around... looking forward to racing with you guys again:thumbsup:

Yes I heard ya...Not sure I was listening though. :) I don't mind snowblowing the drive. Takes about 15 minutes with the JD and 36" blower. I hate the rest of winter. Especially driving 2-3 hours to race in it. But got to get my fix every once in a while. :freak:

Lets see if I can do it this way without someone saying i'm funny. I fully understand what team VIRUS is trying to do and I would like to be a part of it. I don't know what I could bring to this TEAM? As some of you that race with me know I'm disabled due to military service and at times cannot get around like I want .But I would like to offer my help in any small way I could. I'm not crying or whineing about this I just want to see R/C racing grow weather it be offroad road course or oval I just want To HELP. Good luck with your efforts
