What has the turnaround time been on speedos sent back to LRP for repair? Just bought a new SPX, opened the box, put it in the car, after 3 practice rounds the thing goes south on me. I guess I shouldn't have sold off my Tekin's afterall.

I sent one in back in January and it took about 2 1/2 weeks to get it back.

ok, sounds good... hopefully it won't be a problem. I'm just a little tweaked about it at the moment

All Of The People That I Know Have Had The New Spx Go South On Them. I Sent Mine In And I Called Them After 2 Weeks And They Could Not Find It. Then I Got The Ups Info That They Had Recieved It And They Found It. Then They Said That It Had Been Over Heated And That Was The Cause Of The Problem So They Were Not Going To Replace It. I Told Them That The Motor Was Never Over 180 And There Was No Way That The Speedo Had Ever Been Over Heated And They Said That It Was Not There Problem $100 + Shipping And They Could Get Me A New One Out. So I Told Them To Just Keep It Becouse I Was Going To Get A Tekin. Then 3 Weeks After That I Got A New One In The Mail Free Of Charge.
They Made It Right But It Was To Late I Love My New Tekin And The People On The Phone Are Realy Nice And Willing To Help.

For best results, Allow enough time for shipping to them. Once they receive, give them a call and ask for Aldo (spelling). He has had my speedo's back in my hands super fast. I had a speedo go bad the weekend before snowbirds and he actually contacted my local hobbyshop and had them replace my bad one on the spot and sent them my replacement. Thats customer service!

Whatever you do, call and speak with the repair department. Don't just assume they are working on it.
