Thats Rite. we will be doing a one day trophy race on the 29th of August.
we will have prize give aways 50/50 and a new hardware.

the hardware will be differant than your used to. (working out the details as we speek)

1/8th E Buggy
1/8th Truggy
1/8th sportsman class
10th 2 wheel
10th 4 wheel
mod slash.
monster if we get 4 or more.

trophys for top 5 in a mains
top 3 in all other mains.

the track has been redone with no more huge doubles . all table tops now with smooth surface

30 dollars for first class
15 for second
and third is free

So for this race we have decided to do something differant.

so I was thinking one day. (hard to belive I know)
what can we do so Himes wont throw his trophy out the window . on the way home
The 219 has to have all kinds of shiny things in the ditches by now
I thought why not give back to the rc comunity.
So instead of the o'l plastic landfill trophys we always get.
this race we will be having K&D Action Photo doing the trophys.

I wanted to give the trophy money to some one who is in our community and works, races along side us. instead of joe blow trophy maker who just takes our money

So this is what you will get........
we will be doing one standerd backround for the race.
picture of the track with event name on it.
after your main . the top 5 (if it is a A main)
will get thier pic taken with your car, and a plack with your fininshing place.
Your picture will then get transferd to the backround and you will get a 8x10 pic of you and your gear with your finishing position.
you will get this picture on the day of the race.

So im thinking years from now nobody will be bringing out old gawdy trophys to show friends and family.(except Milk) but you can relive the day with a picture. that will stay in your photo albums forever.!!!!!

So lets give this thing a try and see if it is some thing we want to do in the future
