Does anyone want to buy a motor cooler? I have one of the STS coolers. It works great but, since TOUR rules don't allow them I won't be needing it this year. :)

GAME ON!!

Didn't mean to double post. Just getting excited I guess!

Mike COT is 13.5/1 Cell Why must you stir the pot? Yes you can run with the 21.5/2 cell last years stuff.

I think it is something to do with Scott calling his mother. Probably to find out if she still has that old shoebox in the closet with the secret decoder ring so he can read your setup sheets from last season.

According to Hershey's website, one of these:

http://www.hersheys.com/products/details/images/flavors/pf_Whatchamacallit.gif
could increase your car's "downforce" by 45 grams. It's effect on the driver's downforce may vary.

EBlanchard92
08-05-2009, 11:06 PM
naw to do that we would need another one of http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/attachment.php?attachmentid=87924&stc=1&d=1249538687 these to get the parts needed to do that :)

why the big controversy over silly little wings? I think they look like crap, and just make for one more adjustment (like I need anymore),and it is one more thing to break. but when you get it in that sweet spot it can make the car handle like a caddy, plus it does save on tire wear. I guess we should all ask ourselves what is best for the b.c and m.p. group of racers and is sacrificing drivability worth being BRL legal. should the majority rule on this? Or should it be left up to a higher power? Whatever the rules are we should all be glad we have a place to follow them.

Since my name is Nestle, I'll denounce anything affiliation with Hershey.
I have been beating down my own personal 'downforce demons' for some time now, with a modicum of success. I can lose more than 45 grams with a quick trip to the lou. I'll surmise that most of you didn't need to know that but, I'm all about transparency.

Brian, John H. and whoever else is concerned,
As much as I thrive on controversy:rolleyes:, the 'WING' boat has sailed.
If TOUR/BRL does not allow wings in thier pancar classes, neither will we.

EBlanchard92, I think the wall chargers are a 140-160 milliamp charger.
so you would charger for 10 to 16 hours, if the battery is discharged.
Since they are trickle chargers you can go longer, but you have to charge for at least 10 hours to get a full charge.

You'll need something better for racing, since we can't wait 10 hours between rounds. :jest:
Whatever you do, do NOT buy a "timer" charger. Get a peak detection NiCd/NiMh charger with adjustable amperage, since you shouldn't go much above 2 amps for these small cells.

Charge it until it just starts to get warm.

EBlanchard92
08-06-2009, 01:57 PM
but i was told if you charged the battery till it gets warm u over charged it and that kills the cells in the battery. and im going to get a quick charger before October lol just need to save up the money.
