greenlight should make like a collanade body style series such as the 73 chevelle, 73 olds pace car, 74 monte carlo. the cars that were muscle cars but werent considered muscle cars becuz it wasnt in the muscle car era.
who agrees?

MY vote goes to doing all the 73's, Chevelle/Laguna, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Le Mans/Grand Am/GTO, Cutlass/Supreme/442, Century/Regal/Luxus/Gran Sport. I think the 73's overall were the nicest looking of this body style, and the rear ends on all of them were cleaner and had smaller rear bumpers than the 74-77 versions. There were a few unusual ones for that year also such as the Chevelle SS wagon. The Olds and Buick versions with the formal roofline like the Monte Carlo and GP were really nice looking cars, to me better looking than the Chevelle and the other coupes with the triangular side window. Personally, I think Chevy should have made the 73 Chevelle available with the smaller side window as on 74-77 versions.

While were in the 70's, how about a '75-'76 Chrylser Cordoba?
Some Gran Furys and Polaras would be cool too.

I like many, am a little burned out on the traditional muscle cars over and over. And while these would all be cool, I would still not want to see the curse of the "Fresh Cherries" befall GL. You know, so far off the beaten path and odd ball that they just miss the mark and fade away.

That said, I would dig several of the cars listed! I can almost smell the genuine Corinthian leather now!

I laughed when I saw a thread entitled "greenlight should make something cool" 79f150...the humor coming from the thought that we're yet to produce anything "cool" over the years! We'd like to think we've put out one or two things that might fall into that general classification of "cool"

Keep the casting suggestions coming...our eyes and ears are always open to hearing what the marketplace craves!

And then there are people like me who think the "cool" cars listed in this thread are anything but.. The 70s cars were the antithesis of cool for the most part:jest:

Russell....NOT to say that the cars you produce AREN'T cool - they are - but all we're saying is please, please, PLEASE, more '70s iron. In addition to the above-mentioned, how about a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner! There's more than enough Camaros, Mustangs, GTOs, etc. I think some of us would like to see more of the cars that represent: "Hey, my dad/grandpa/uncle had one." Or: "Hey, that was my first car!"

I also think you should make some ford pickup trucks! such as the late 70s late 60s! please please please think bout these ideas! look how many people agreed with the idea of the forgotten muscle cars!

I would have to agree with you on that! Keep up what you are doing GL. Perhaps some muscle from the 90's. Or a 260/289 Cobra. Or PLEASE make a Ford truck!!! #1 selling pickup for decades and it's the only brand that's yet to be made now...

Better yet how about the vehicle you use for a name here!!!!! I think a 79 F-150 In reg Cab Long box, Reg cab short box, Club cab Short box and a 4 door short box is long over due in 2wd and 4wd versions!!!!!! If there can only be one it has to be a 4 door shortbox with a hitch for the whole family to hook the trailer & take the GL muscle cars to the car show.

Like this with a classic 79 F-150 4 door shortbox

I'd love any of those mid '70s cars..in part because the traditional muscle cars have been done to death in 1:64th, over and over and over again. Though some gaps remain--no one has done a '66-67 or 68-69 Mercury Cyclone, for example.

SOME mid '70s cars would be allright to have.
"Cool" to have in 1/64th.......dorky to have in 1:1.

How about a 1991 GMC Syclone & 1992-1993 GMC Typhoon. I know JL has made these, but a GL version would be way better!
