Hey can anyone tell me a good RUBBER tire to run a Nitro TC3 on oval? I've ran oval before in the past back when FOAMS were king! But now the track owner wants everyone on rubbers... which I HATE. I kno sum rubber tires can cost alot of $$, so I don't want to waste any money on tires that I don't need or that aren't any good. Please Help!!

I think bsr makes some touring car cap style tires

You could just run a set of Takeoffs.

As I said I hate rubber tires, yes Takeoffs would be fine but what compound? Our track is Fresh paved Asphalt. I never hade to run rubbers before so I wouldn't know want to try or start with.

Like Dave said, caps would be the better choice. If you go with the caps, start with 4 pinks. I don't think you'd need anything else. Takeoff style tires will be cheaper though. When we were running touring oval on asphalt, it seems like we ran RP-27's and RP-30's? It was the medium compound. I also ran the Corally rubber tires with pink inserts.
