TRU Exclusive BB Mustang series [Archive]

Saw these today at TRU, Black Bandit TRU Exclusive Mustang series. No pics as I didn't buy any, sorry. Anybody else seen these? I apologize if this has already been discussed.

i didnt think they were out yet. Any green machine in the mix. I need two sets so ill be visiting TRU every day now till they hit.

The production is 2500/car, so that would make 1250 cases of 12, with 300 total Green Machines, so GMs will be 1 in every 4 cases. Good Luck!

No green machine just two full sets. Hopefully the local Mustang collector will buy them up and they will put out some more with green next time.

Any chance that if you get back to TRU, you can get us the UPC and TRU part number for these ? I'd like to be able to call my TRU to see when they are getting them. Thanks.

I checked online because I was hoping to just be able to order a case from the website, but no luck... I really don't like that you can only get these in tru.

That TRU SKN is for the regular BB Release, not for the Mustang TRU exclusive.

DrDeal, with all due respect, you are incorrect.

TRU SKN for the 1:64 Black Bandit Mustangs is 511725...I have the paperwork right in front of me. Delivery window to stores ranges from August 2-15 (although it appears some of these showed up a couple of days before the designated window!), so be patient with your local TRU...they may still be a week or so away from receiving the goods.

Delivery window to stores ranges from August 2-15, so some Toys 'R' Us stores are yet to receive them as of today - August 10. They'll be there, don't worry!

I saw all of them at a TRU yesterday. I thought I already had them so I left them on the pegs. Now I see that they are a new BB series so I may go back and grab them while I can.

Hi All,

Well our TRU got in one box last week which I missed out on. I did hear from the guy who got them and there was NO green machine. Yesterday I talked to the stocker and was told one box was coming in today. He agreed to hold it for me. So I showed up at 10:00 am and got my box. It was opened and all twelve Mustangs were in there. Unfortunately there was NO green machine :( Someone at the TRU does take the green machines so I doubt that I would have gotten one if it was in the box. Oh well, at least I have the regulars now :thumbsup: Maybe next time I'll score a green machine. Good luck to all that are looking for them !

Found all but the '67 Shelby GT today at my TRU....I guess it's off to the bay for the one car! The Stangs go quick around here!

There were 11 cars on the hooks when I arrived, this was the only missing piece. My guess...it was green!!

There 2 in a case, (reg) if there 11 cars there, unless they had 3 of one car, should be 2 of ea. car,;)

Maybe thier was only 10 then, because thier was no '67 Shelby's. I reall thought it was 11, but that does not make sense then, because thier was doubles of all but no '67's. Thanks for the info.

Went to a TRU today that I don't get to often. All BBs but one of the BWF Stangs were hanging. Could have been bought by a BWF collector - could have been a GM...
My 2008 Shelby is number 0002!!:thumbsup:
