I received some Minichamps several weeks ago and I immediately compared the Alfa Romeo 8C made by Kyosho. The latter is one of my favorite cars in my Kyosho collection. I am amazed at the level of detail that minichamps gave their new 1/64 models. Scale wise, I think they're the same, the MC is just riding a bit lower. Here are some shots I took... I will take some snaps of the gt3 later

Hi CarC,
Thank you for the pictures. Can't wait to see the GT3 comparison soon.
Both cars are excellent casts but the Minichamps edges out Kyosho with more details. I love the added details on the wheels, brakes, and the rear view mirrors of the Minichamps, but the Kyosho's has a better rendition of the side vent (and cheaper at the original MSRP). Both are a must-have in any 1/64 die-cast collection.

Like Kotetsu, said, both are wonderful castings. But push comes to shove, I will have to tip my head to the Minchamps. I think they won me over with the ride height. On a static casting, the little things become so importiant, so that just toped it off for me!

what y'all said... I think they are both phenomenal but side by side the MC just nails it.
