Just nuts!!!!!! Saw a Dash 55 chev with alloy wheels sell for a little over $100 last week!

I have bought and sold and traded.. and even given slot cars to people, and it never fails that someone at some point in time just doesn't pay attention.

He clearly listed it as a JL above the description. Unfortunately the buyer will pay way too much for the car. I am curious though. Since I barely jumped on the AW, JL bandwagon and stick with the "original" stuff, is this car "very rare"? I have a sneaking suspicion it is not. Pardon me if I am wrong, but I have yet to find any of the JLs or AWs that are rare. Heck- the truth is that nowadays tjets aren't so rare anymore. At what point do we figure out that there are half a gazillion tjets for the 60s still out there? (shame on the internet!)

Oh well... a fool and his money shall soon part...

Last summer boosy got a buyer from Germany to shell out over $200.00 for a black 59 chebby.. I'll go as far as saying the yellow and the white ones are a tad bit harder to locate, but not worth $50.00...even on a NOS chassis..
