No fair, you used the white GTA twice, and failed to use the blue charger po-po.

Otherwise, I love it!

Not quite a normul GTA, but a 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am.
A h*ll of alot faster than a GTA.
Top speed over 160.

Thanks for the pics and captions, Leigh! Very entertaining!

I ordered the Hot Pursuit set from an OLD; I figured that police cars tend to sell quickly and I am sure the Javelin will be the hottest seller in this release. If I find any at retail, I'll probably pick up an extra Javelin and Galaxie. Speaking of the Javelin, Greenlight showed some keen attention to detail. Compare the '71 Javelin AMX casting to the po-po Javelin and you will see the outside differences - no front spoiler, no sport lights....
While I am enjoying this release, I look forward to the next release!

I feel the GL hit a home run with this set. I try to collect police vehicle, when I can find them. I do so hope that they continue this line.

Hi Snow Owl - the two-car scenes are really creative and speak to the audience we had hoped to interest with this release. Good work!

We are continuing with 1:64 Hot Pursuit later this year, as Series 2 is tentatively slated for a December 2009 release. The follow-up set will contain the following:

- 1:64 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Bloomfield Hills, MI Police
- 1:64 2008 Dodge Charger Virginia State Police
- 1:64 2008 Dodge Charger North Dakota State Police
- 1:64 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Montgomery County, Texas Sheriff
- 1:64 2008 Ford Mustang GT Coronado, CA Police
- 1:64 2009 Dodge Challenger Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Police

Once the samples are in, they'll first be posted on our Collector's Club website - http://www.underthehoodclub.com - then on HobbyTalk 1-2 weeks later. Hopefully December isn't too long to wait for the next release!

Edmonton uses the new Chally for a cop car?? WOW!!

CT State Police use black, unmarked Chargers and the old reliable Crown Vics.

The next HP release will become part of my collection.

Just received my series 1. Absolutely awesome set. The Javelin is the pick closely followed by the Crown Vic's. I have the old Speccast Crown Vic set and I thought that they were good quality replicas, GL you have raised the bar even further. Please keep these cars coming and please do a department that uses a black and white Crown Vic.

I hope Greenlight has some plans for some 60s and 70s 4dr police sedans, that would look great with all those 60s and 70s muscle cars...

Maybe we will hear some good news in the nest few months...

I've really only seen the first release in full on the pegs once. That's when I got all the ones I wanted. After that, I always just saw maybe 1 or 2 of the Galaxie or Javelin. I hope I see more of the 2nd release!!
