badassrevo 07-29-2010, 10:11 PM Finally got the slash all put back together last night and also made a chassis cover with some velcro and window screen. So curious to see how it does this weekend at the track with keeping the crap out.
Chris
pantyhose would work better.

snwchris 07-30-2010, 11:21 PM you guy know they make chassis covers
Yea... but why spend $30 on it when I made mine for $8
pink_sleeve 07-31-2010, 12:45 AM Will there be any 2wd this weekend?
2wd should be Brent, Bill (The Chump) i mean Champ Shay, Steve P, myself, Kevin Lewis, Jay Stiffler, and maybe Brandon Yancar again?
Just make sure you bring SUNGLASSES and a HAT ;)
megasaxon 07-31-2010, 08:12 AM is there a rules set kicking around? Me and a buddy of mine are coming down for the first time tomorrow. I've got a T4 and a Blitz, he's got short course trucks as well. Also what tires seem to be working on the outdoor offroad?

So far all tires seem to work OK. We haven't ran on the track enough to find the hot tire. It also depends on if the track is wet, damp, or dry...
What rules are you looking for. Short course is pretty much an open class since nobody hardly ever wants to run stock or spec.
pink_sleeve 07-31-2010, 03:22 PM im gonna try too make it out!
Either your parts haven't came in from the middle east or you are scared
megasaxon 07-31-2010, 03:48 PM motor limit in 2wd Stadium Truck?
Bshay 07-31-2010, 04:04 PM Either your parts haven't came in from the middle east or you are scared
or I have to spend time with the kids...
Bshay 07-31-2010, 04:05 PM motor limit in 2wd Stadium Truck?
i think its pretty much been an open 2wd stadium truck due to light turn outs from weather. if there is enough for both mod and stock they will split them.
Bshay 07-31-2010, 04:07 PM Either your parts haven't came in from the middle east or you are scared
it all depends on if the kids go to the grandma's to see her before she goes on vacation :drunk:
megasaxon 07-31-2010, 04:37 PM aight, i got a 10.5 in it right now, but will have a 17.5 and 13.5 with me, some places have a little bit different idea what 'stock' is...

Maybe if we have enuf stock CORR trucks we can split the class? Our group will be bringing either 3 or 4 stock CORR 's.
Last week I ran the stock slash tires and I thought it did very well. My oldest son ran a stock slash with Goose Bumps and said it did well also.

Sweet, I had full intension of making it to medina today but my wife reminded me of my mother in-law's birthday party today. And I have yet to try out Ryan's outdoor track. I checked it out a few weeks ago when I stopped out and nobody was around.
Bshay 08-01-2010, 01:16 AM Bill Shay . . . you have a PM.
back at ya!
bennyboy 08-01-2010, 11:13 PM Wow, great racing today at ARCS, with the competition top shelf as always. Mom Goff had the 1/2 pound dogs and subs going which in my opinion is better than racing, if I raced, so, for me it was the best part of the day..
Sure liked , Mike Yancar in Corr truck. Watch out corr drivers there is a "Young gun" in the house (today it was ARCS) and will be coming to your house soon! His brother, Brandon is wheeling the 2wd buggy nicely.
When Nam, Neer, Barrett, Wilks, Stifler, Protchko, Lewis, Shay, Hosler, Moisio
Rick D, Ashburn, Glass family, Jim Jones clan, Two regulars from OakHill/Glenwood tracks, and Vic Yancar and his boys show up, you best bring your "A game". These guys run multiple classes, so it is hard to tell which is their best................priceless.
NOTE: No racing at ARCS next Sunday, 8-8. Ryan is closing the track for the "THE BIG TROPHY RACE AT HAVE FUN HOBBIES". More to follow on the Have Fun Thread  Thanks Lance.
Ryan will be down at Have Fun this week helping Lance put in a new layout.
Tito B 08-01-2010, 11:31 PM aight, i got a 10.5 in it right now, but will have a 17.5 and 13.5 with me, some places have a little bit different idea what 'stock' is...
we here in ohio dont believe in motor limits.
pink_sleeve 08-02-2010, 03:55 AM If anybody is interested i have decided to sell my Slash Platinum 4x4 with Hotbodies big bores. It also has RPM black arms all the way around as well as RPM side nerf bars and RPM rear hubs. I do have all the platinum aluminum pieces that come with the platinum.
I also have 1 AMB transponder for sale as well as a bunch of 1/8th scale wheels and tires for sale in good condition.
Please PM me for info or with any questions
trashedmaxx 08-02-2010, 10:07 AM What a good time yesterday. For the 4-5 min of the 2wd race anyone could have won it. Real tight racing.
Dietz 08-02-2010, 04:23 PM Dan, do you have any Knuckle 2.0 1/8 tires?
TJones 08-02-2010, 06:19 PM Once again, we had a great time yesterday, awesome racing. Madison, keep up the good work, and you'll get the hang of it! You'll have to talk your mom into coming 3 weeks in a row. We'll be at have fun this weekend, but we hope to be back up soon. And hey, thanks for getting the bathroom
wheels-a-fire 08-02-2010, 07:36 PM Great time yesterday, Michael had the best time of all:thumbsup: He had a real confidence booster yesterday and looked like his driving skill are coming back around again. With all the dissapointments through the day, that made my day:) We'll be back in a few weeks. By the way Awesome Hot Dogs:thumbsup:
wheels-a-fire 08-02-2010, 09:14 PM Anyone know how to get 3deg of rear toe on a xxxcr? Not sure if the xx4's would work or not
pink_sleeve 08-03-2010, 03:40 PM Victor i'm almost sure it has 3 degrees of toe built in.

pink_sleeve 08-03-2010, 05:30 PM Tim I see you are still online. I am reporting live from ARCS hobbies outdoor practice and I see no sign of Moisio racing
Eric Clark 08-03-2010, 05:37 PM The stock pivot support has 3* toe and 2* squat. If you want 3* of squat add .020 shims under the front of the pivot.

Get me some pictures of this new layout to inspire me to drive up some Sunday to watch.

Dietz 08-03-2010, 08:29 PM Dan, can you get your hands on an 1/8 nitro buggy when I get a chance to come up and race? It's been awhile since we've rubbed wheels.

If Web had a loaner I'd show you the fast way around Frank but I think he converted all the extras to electric. Everyone keeps telling me he is retired and is just Lovies pit guy now though lol
