This weekend we are running the http://www.rctech.net/forum/racing-forum/370745-ohio-electric-off-road-summer-series.html It is 1/10th only though.
Me Dave and Brandon are all going for sure. It would be great to see some of you guys there.
JMPN02 05-23-2010, 10:29 AM How about a race on the outdoor track? How's it coming after many many weeks of work? I'm still holding strong on the opening day being 6/4/2011. LOL
I have seen the outdoor track and it looks GREAT!!!
Ryan has spent weeks screening the dirt, packing it down and watering.
The jumps are huge!!! some as tall as the 10 ft drivers stand. The whoop section seems to go on forever,I like the sandbox and the grass straight away. Also the little station for washing and drying your cars is really nice!
Ooooppps daydreaming again

The………. ”My Cart is Faster than your Cart, Tool Shed 2mile”
This race is in cooperation with the Ashtabula Carting Association’s Approved Track.
A big, ARCS thank you, goes out to Rodney , track owner, who has provided a fine facility to, settle the scores.:thumbsup:
You showed everyone you can drive the R/C cars, but can you handle a finely tuned, high performance carting machine. These bad boyz carts are ported, polished and blown!
Format is 2 lap qualifiers for starting position with a main to be determined. More info to follow, as rules and pricing is hatched out. The Cart track will be closed to the public for this manly event, to accommodate all the interest that has already been shown.
Some of the top drivers who have already committed are Covell, Nam, Diaz, The Moisio Boys and their dad, Abbott, Brocious, Shay, Neer, Goff to name a few.
Anyone who is interested , please post on this thread. Questions are always appreciated, but may not be answered
Again this is an ARCS weekday Fun-a Rama. ARCS……… Taking R/C to another level!
Stay tuned for updates as they come in
For those who feel better driving with a controller in their hand, feel free to bring yours and use it.

cbrociuos 05-27-2010, 09:41 PM the sign says bring your kart. i dont have one, and i dont know if ill be able to find a 250 or 500cc shifter kart within a couple weeks.:)
Vanwall 05-27-2010, 11:43 PM I think they mean you can bring your own cart. When I stopped by they were not open. The last time I was there (years ago) I drove a rental cart. I believe they do have rental carts.

emod15_777 06-03-2010, 03:10 PM Hey everyone! Just getting the next trophy race sorted out. Looks like it will be June 15th. Carts will be supplied. I'm going to take my amb stuff to see if we can get it to work in the carts. That way we can run ifmar qualifying. Racing will start at 7pm. Track is open all day. You can come earlier and practice, but you will have to pay seperatly for practice. Right now the deal is $15 gets you a qualifying heat, qualifying laps (2) to seat the mains and mains. The carts are 5.5 hondas with no governors. They are not your average "pay" carts. I will only be helping with race and all proceeds will go to the racetrack. Have Fun Hobbies has supplied some sweet trophies. All drivers will be required to stand on a scale and weight will be added to the carts so everyone weighs the same. (That just killed Webers advantage, since he weighs about 80 pounds) Any questions? Just ask!!
cbrociuos 06-03-2010, 06:42 PM ill be there!:thumbsup:thumb
Stealth_RT 06-03-2010, 07:45 PM They have enough weights for everyone if Chops shows up? :freak::wave:
badassrevo 06-03-2010, 07:59 PM Thats not funny! LOL
I will be there.
They have enough weights for everyone if Chops shows up? :freak::wave:
He'll have an unfair advantage. They'll have to give him a bigger motor to push that thing as fast as everyone else. Then the rest of us will be bouncing off him like ping pong balls while he punts everyone mid turn. Yup, that'll be fun.
This is starting to sound interesting, it should be just like playing Super Mario Cart. Can we run our 1/4 scale touring cars too?
emod15_777 06-03-2010, 10:04 PM I'm curious if we will see "Mr. Tim Moisio" at the wheel.
cbrociuos 06-03-2010, 10:14 PM im curious to see how that outdoor track is coming! any pics?

Stealth_RT 06-04-2010, 06:56 PM im curious to see how that outdoor track is coming! any pics?
Better question is, Did the landlord bring water into the facility yet? If there's no source of water onsite, there most likely wont be an outdoor track. Ryan already said he can't haul in 15,000 gallons of water every week to maintain an outdoor track.
C'mon Ryan, there's a water tower right across the road, start up the trencher and put in your own water line :)
