Q for setup of a lipo cutoff for slash stock speed control my cutoff has the normal reciever plug but also two wires desinged to go to a seperate reciver battery pack wich i dont use would these two just be left out and cutoff still work fine becouse my reciever is powered by main battery not an extra one

those two wires go to the main battery. if its a novak it doesnt get its power through the esc. from what ive heard you can not use a novak with the stock esc. it wont work but i dont remember why

you dont realy need a cutoff for the slash.
it wont drain your bat to the point of no return.

I used a lipo cutoff from maxamps on my slash.

a cut off is a good idea . but if you race and you recharge after each race you will not have any problems. i have a 4000mah 20c with cutoff and get about 25-30 min before cutoff and its not a great battery. just replace that esc with a novak havoc esc combo for 140$ and with a 17.5 motor
