Hi Guys,
I picked up some M2 Clearly Authentics cars and was wondering how do you know which are the chase cars in this series. Is there a website that shows all the chase cars for the other series as well? Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Morris

I do not know of a directory for chase cars, but I am quite sure that the chase cars are completely clear. There are a couple cars that are clear, but have painted engines and interiors. The chase is just completely clear. Someone please clarify if I am wrong on this...

Thanks for the help and links guys. I thought I had 9 chase cars but now I know I don't. I knew it was too good to be true!

Maybe somebody here can answer this, but I do not understand why on the M2 website (linked above) some are chrome and say "Limited Edition" while others are black and gold and say "Chase."
What is the difference between the chrome and the black and gold? Why is one chase and the other limited edition?
Thanks for the assistance.

The point could probably be made that both are chase cars simply by the definition of a chase car. The difference between the two is the number available. The chrome cars are significantly more limited. For example the latest Detroit Muscle series, the Chrome Olds is less than 150 while the black & gold "chase" Torino is 1800. Hopefully that helps

per Sean at M2
The chrome cars are called Limited Editions, they are less than 400 produced in each release. Only ONE car is chosen per release to be a Limited Editions.
Staring in release 3 we now have the chase car or wild goose car. One car is chosen per release and is painted black with gold trim and grill/bumpers. They are produced around 1600 - 1800 pieces.

I agree, but I was talking specifically about Chase Car the proper noun and not just chase car the noun.
However, I see your point and thanks for the information.
