Does anyone have any more info than this clip? This was shown at the San Diego Comic Com and posted at IMDB. Looks interesting to me, and I'm one of the ones who didn't realy get into the new series on it's first run (though I'm watching it on DVD now)

This was announced at the conclusion of the series. It sounds like it's pretty much the same story as BSG but told from the Cylon's point of view. It may or may not add anything to what's been said.

If you didn't follow the tv show (the new BSG), this probably won't mean a lot to you. On the other hand, it might give you enough background to want to go back at look at the entire series!

The other spin-off, "Caprica," sounds like it needs no or little familiarity with BSG.

There is another clip out there of Ellen, wounded during the initial attack, with Cavil before he wipes her memory and sends her back to the fleet.

I've got Caprica on DVD and was fairly unimpressed.

Will the Caprica pilot be broadcast at some point? Or did I miss it? It looks like it was DVD only. While I'm interested, I'd like to see more about it before shelling out the bucks. The buzz seems weak on this one.

Also, is the Caprica series a go?

Caprica is a "go" for a late Fall 2009 or early 2010 release. "The Plan" is a one-shot that looks like it was probably put together using whoever was still in town at the time. That's not meant to be as derogatory as it sounds, but they were already in the midst of taking down the sets, and most of the crew had moved on to other work when "The Plan" was shot.
