Saw the car carrier tonight and a bit underwhelmed. Looks toyish ,I know they are supposed to be. The other two look better but the Matchbox van looks the best IMHO.
Oh yeah 9 bucks is not too bad.

Those look great!!! Now is the car carrier in scale with the cars?

Quote from John Nijhuis, 21 June on mbxforum.com:

"...Truck & trailer combined are 9 1/2 inches long. New larger size is more compatible with our die cast cars. Scale is closer to true 1:64th scale since these trucks are scaled closer to our 1:64th scale cars . They needed to be slightly wider than our RWR trucks to allow 1:64 vehicles to fit in and on the other trailers.
Truck cabs have now side graphics and some have VUM parts. VUM is Vacuum Urethane Metalizing or just plain Chrome. It's been years since Chrome or even tampo deco were used on convoys."

So would these be along the same size as lets say the ford aeromax, mack ch600, kenworth t200 etc etc, or are they more like the superkings? i love collecting trucks, but most of mine are 1:87 scale, or in that general ballpark...

Yeah I would say Superking size, Definitely bigger than reg Convoys.

would these be in similar scale to the convoys now or the real working rigs? the working rigs are perfect scale if you ask me....they ought to come out with a car hauler in that scale

I saw them in KMart here in Sydney yesterday.

They look great but are too big to go with my RWR and regular Convoy trucks.
