I just recieved a Big Boy kit from an Ebay seller that didn't contain the instruction sheets. Could anybody with the kit scan the instructions for me...please.

Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott,
It took me a while to realize you were speaking of a German Revell static kit, rather than the old Revell HO trains! I gather the instructions are in the form of a multi-lingual booklet. Sorry I couldn't do better for you.

If I am correct that is originally a Monogram kit. So you can expand your search.

I think my son and I may have what you need. If you are still looking for the Revell Big Boy instructions, I can try to scan them to you this coming week. Just let me know. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the offer but I've solved the problem.

While in CA. researching the monorails at Disneyland I found another Big Boy kit in a clearance bin for $10.

Kinda figured on something like that. Maybe you can scan your instructions, for the kit instructions website.

Did you do the 50th anniversary thing with the Monorail Society? I hope you got some Mark VII info to share...:)

No:(

I spent a few days working on the bogies for the G scale Mark I. I did try to talk to a person from Ride and Show about their monorail work but we never could connect.

As I'm in this monorail kick I was also looking for a place that might sell surplus curtain track like used in a hospital to hold the cloth room deviders. If I can find a cheep source of it I will probably be building one of the monorails from the old Thunderbirds tv show studio scale.
I just picked up an AMT Bumper and Grill kit from the 50/60s which will cover most of the kit part detailing needs.

I did also finally get to organize the 1.5gb of monorail photos and info I've collected.

The Big Boy instructions as well as both kits are in California at a friends house but I will have him scan the instructions for the site.

I've tried to post a few times at the Monorail Society, but just haven't gotten comfortable over there. Good luck on your Thunderbirds monorail- and keep us apprised.
