Hi this a NEW G scale Aristo Craft Chicago & Northwestern # 2487 Steam Locomotive and Tender we bought about 3 years ago to just hang on the wall and never did so it's time to sell it. (impulse buy at a local train show, looks cool) We know nothing about it other than we bought it new and it's heavy, so all I can say is what's on the box. It's a 2-8-2 Mikado Steam Loco, Features Operating smoke Unit, Can motor Drive with built in cooling fan, All drive axles gear driven, Ball bearing gear boxes, 3 flywheels, headlight, marker/ classification lights, Movable side windows, Metal drive wheels, metal side rods, blackened brass side railings, Boiler and Cab detail, MU Plugs for battery Hookup, Front AAR Knuckle Coupler, Rear Drawbar for tender and heavy weight for pulling power. The manual also says it has a DCC port, and a Main PC board don't know what that means either. Says you can put a Gel cell battery in it to. The Tenders features Electrical pick up from rear truck, operation Knuckle coupler on the rear, sprung equalized 4 wheel trucks, Factory installed speaker for sound, sound ready, Poly Switches to Prevent Short Circuits in case of Derailment. That's basically it, I also have a 5 foot piece of Brass (looks brass) track that goes with the train if buyer wants it, just pay shipping.
