There will racers who have been around r/c racing for many years and will be glad to help with car set-up or even line you with a r/c car to drive or even sell. Due to damage caused by the severe weather Tuesday night,the mess the go carts left from the fair,and possible bad weather all weekend long...the Grand Opening race weekend will be delayed. The track will still be open Friday & Saturday...but mainly for practice & test sessions. FRIDAY 3pm-9pm Practice SATURDAY 9AM-9PM Practice/Test Sessions/Shake down races to test the AMB & PA systems and allow drivers to wrench on the cars. *** > SEE THE R/CAR WEBSITE FOR MORE DETAILS < *** Big classes discussed for the weekend are... Top 3 locked in A main. Everyone runs 2 heats and best finishes in heats determines your main top 2 heat finishers not locked in A main will then be locked in. Everyone else runs B main if we have enough to run A and B main. 10 cars go to A main 11 or more race there way in...... Any Slash "Truck" body. We will allow the aluminum shock caps since that is a weak point and non-performance enhancing. We will only have about 2hrs to practice before the program begins Saturday and it will be 20min controlled sessions by class. So Friday will be the best day to get maximum track time for testing. Friday practice $5 Saturday Racing $10 first class & $5 for each additional class. *Please bring a table,chair,extension cord,and whatever else you need to be comfortable & go fast. Sorry guys...no alcoholic beverages on the property. Hot food & concessions...and clean restrooms. Feel free to bring the entire family,this facility is here for the future of our hobby...the kids & our golden years.
