I read the article and it talks about Peter Brock and Bob Bondurant being on hand... correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Peter Brock die in a crash racing his Daytona?..

The car was previously auctioned with a high bid of 7.5 million ,but didnt meet the reserve.Mecums had it on display at thier auction here in Des Moines, Iowa.Displayed in a glass cube with armed guards watching over it.

saw that cobra at amelia island this year... got pics of the engine, interior, serial number, and got some videos of it running, boy how secured it is in there!

Nice Chrysler off to the right top of the pic. But the Cobra might have a hard time betterinig 7.5 mil these days.
