It's been posted that KIMBROUGH is coming back!!

IRS Dave posted that KIMBROUGH will be making new SMALL Spur gears for the lower rpm motors and one cell lipo type classes - which is great news!

But the better news is that one of the PIONEERS in the R/C Industry still goes on!

Their NEW Web Site is up and running now as well!!!

Yes we are back! we actually never went anywhere, but now we have new products. And all the new gear sizes should be getting to the hobby shops by now. The distributors have had them for a couple of weeks, we are never out of stock. If they are not on your hobby shop shelves have your hobby dealer order them from their usual distributors. Or you can get them on line at our web site. But if you can support your local hobby shop.

The new sizes are #199 76T, #202 78T, #203 80T, #204 82T, #205 84T, #206 86T
The one difference is due to the how small the gear is their is no diff cover mount. That is as small as we can go. But if you look at gear chart you can get just about any roll out with the new gears along with our previous size spur gears. 88t,96t,100t,104t,108t,112t,124,128t.

All of our gear are made out of Stanyl(copyrighted) which is a 46nylon three times more impact resistant then any other gear mfgs plastic, Stanyl which is a automotive grade plastic, used by GM,Ford and many other car mfgs. Its also three times more expensive then delrin which is used by other mfgs. More expensive is not always better but in the case of model cars flying along at 30 to 40mph and then slamming into a wall, it could well make the difference between finishing or putting the car on the trailer. Which brings me to my last point all of our spur gears with out balls are priced at $5.00 a gear and with balls pre-installed $6.00 a gear. Very affordable.

If you go to our new web site and store, we also have gear charts that can be down loaded to your computer or printer.

Next up for Kimbrough Products will be metal pinions of our very own, that will also be made right here in California. We will start with the large 64 pitch gears and fill that out and then do 48 pitch pinion gears.

If you have any questions please feel free to go to our web site and email us.

Also wanted to mention all of our gear come with the tooth size marked on the gear. Unlike our previous gears, the new sizes are marked on one side of the gear where the ejector pin is located, very easy to see. Their was not enough material on the side of the teeth to mark them the previous way.

Can't wait to give the metal pinions a try. Do you have an ETA on the finish date for those. Glad to see you are back in the fold full steam again!

Jay Kimbrough. Long time bud. Jamie Woosley here. Glad to see your coming out some new cool stuff. Your gears have always been awesome. Need to see if I can get my hands on some of the smaller spurs. I still have several of the bigger ones from back in the day. Have a good one.

Hey Guys - in case you didn't know, you CAN order Kimbrough Products DIRECT from Kimbrough Racing Products. It's always preferred if you can support your local hobby retailer, but when you are in NEED, visit KIMBROUGH RACING PRODUCTS on line and you can purchase directly from the site.

Huge thanks to Jay Kimbrough for allowing me to bring back the Kimbrough 4:00 R/C Oval Race.

2011 marks the 20th Anniversary of the FIRST Kimbrough 4:00, and was a fitting tribute to the Late CHUCK KIMBROUGH who passed about a year ago.

Jay was able to provide a Prize Package to ALL the drivers who entered this years event, that package included a variety pack of Spur Gears (4) and a Servo Saver.

THANKS JAY - that package was a HUGE hit with many of the drivers!!!

For more information about the KIMBROUGH 400 visit www.Kimbrough400.com (http://www.Kimbrough400.com) - NOTE: The Kimbrough 4:00 is a Joe Myers Event, and has NO direct affiliation w/ Kimbrough Racing Products.
